Of the many Thai/sushi options in Alamosa, this place is THE Best option by far! Their dragon roll, chicken noodle soup, clear noodle soup, and chicken fried rice are out of this world good! (That’s all I order every time) 😅 Great, friendly service and good ambiance! 10/10 for sure!

We had a nice lunch here. Tofu is a choice for all the curries and noodle dishes, and the waiter was able to answer questions about sauces etc. being vegan.

This restaurant has a lot of great vegan options, just ask to make sure. The waiter was very knowledgeable. They have gluten free options as well and even had gluten free soy sauce upon request.

Very reasonable prices. The egg rolls, shrimp shumai, panang curry with chicken, and volcano roll were all fabulous. The panang curry had a generous serving of chicken and veggies. Perfect level of spice at 2 out of 5. Got the food very fast and the service was good.

What they sell here is not Thai curry at all, but a weird curry soup! Fortunately, the pineapple fried rice was okay.

Good thai food considering the price.
I had the Penang Curry with Shrimp which came with a generous amount of red and green bell peppers. Shrimp was tender.
My husband had the Red Curry with Chicken which he requested as Mild. It was good and not quite as spicy as my order. The waiter was very busy but seemed to handle many tables without issues. Mango sticky rice was good.

We are from LA where there are many Thai food (just many food). This place is definitely delicious. Portion is great and great price. Long wait (40 mins to go on a Monday at 7pm the first week of October) but absolutely worth it.

We ordered pad Thai with chicken. The chicken is a little dry but the pad Thai is packed with complex flavor. It's savory but with the perfect balance of sweetness like a pad Thai should have. We also order a pad ka mao (aka drunken noodle) with #3 spicy. It's very flavorful with different layer of flavor. You can taste the basil, the sauce and the sweetness from veggie. However, there are a little to many green pepper which personally, I hate green pepper. Despite that, I still love it (just won't call it perfect). The chicken also on the dry side but also, quiet typical. Overall , absolutely a 5-star place.

I will fully admit I didn’t know what to expect but we were traveling and needed vegan options. Ok my mind was BLOWN! It was delish. And I mean not delish “for a small town / limited options” just straight up super tasty. I got the panang curry with tofu and my partner got the green curry w/ veggies. Both were super flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I do wish there was either more rice or less curry b/ the ratio for me were a little off but that could be just me. Highly recommend!

Thai Hut offers a variety of Thai and Japanese dishes. During my visit, we ordered a vegan rolls which tasted as expected and a couple of Thai dishes that I have to say were one of my least favorite versions I've had.

Massaman curry felt like it was curry powder thrown together with corn starch to thicken it up. The dish claimed to have coconut milk but definitely could've used significantly more if it did. I'd skip this dish if you're expecting to get something remotely similar to what you find elsewhere.

Pad kee mao was another dish we offered and the noodles were pretty tough.

If you didn't know what these dishes were supposed to taste like you'd probably enjoy them but if you're looking for authentic versions of these two, look elsewhere

Other people in my party enjoyed their food but I didn't try them. Overall, service was fine.

Based on all the great reviews, I had expected more of this place. We ordered takeout, and while the staff was more than happy to point out all vegan options, the food was incredibly lackluster. Especially for Thai food, it was plain bland and our pad Thai had only trace amounts of vegetables. Maybe you have more luck if you dine in, the place seemed accommodating to vegans. Sushi roll had fresh jalapeño inside - unusual. The restaurant did not inform. Unknowingly I had it and caught ?. Also did not tell me the credit card fee will be on me. Food amount was ok.

Menu photo on google review is the same as I saw - no mention on jalapeno. Customer has to argue with this business... Why would any customer pay own $ to argue?

Food and service here is great.

The fried shrimp rice with shrimp and minced pork noodle soup were pretty good, and light on the stomach.

But the pad thai here is the best, it’s super flavorful and the right amount of sweet and sour.

Vegetarian options: There’s a whole vegan sushi section on the menu, and for a lot of the thai dishes like fried rice, pad see ew, and pad thai, they have tofu as a protein option.
