Our waitress Candace was nice. The atmosphere inside was pretty cool too. Dim and chill. I ordered the sirlion with mushrooms topped with gravy. Gravy was a little overwhelming, too much! And overpowering. However, the steak was cooked prefectly! I ordered the sweet potato fries too, crispy and sweet. One thing about the steaks though, the menu stated that the steak w/ the mushrooms w/ gravy w/ a side is $23. But when the check came out, they charged an extra $2 for the sides. Need to write a note in the menu about that. The shrimp tacos were a little disappointing. Tiny bits of shrimp fried and put in the tortillas with a bunch of colesaw. Couldnt even taste any of the shrimp. Mussels and clams were too salty. Nachos were good though!

Burgers were delicious! Service was outstanding! Busy, hopping place. Didn’t have the cheesecake but it was a mile high and looked amazing! Very reasonably priced. I loved sitting at the bar and watching the chefs move like a well oiled machine! Very cool place!
Great shrimp trio!!! Table side salad was unbeatable. Server was great!!!, just wish I could remember his name. I remember his son went to the university of Florida. Great experience all around!

Fastest service in the west! We ordered our burgers. I don't think it took five minutes to get our orders. They have every kind of hamburger imaginable including many other choices. The burgers were exceptional! We got the double threat. Just Fabulous! Highly recommend! Only marked 4 star on atmosphere because people who can't hear will have trouble conversing! It's a little loud.

We had the best time at the Rubi Slipper. What I want in a restaurant is a fun atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. This place gets an A+ in all three categories. If you come here on a date night, eat a fried taco as an appetizer. Then split a burger, and top it off with some cheese cake. You can't go wrong.
The staff is super nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the food - the menu is huge and as a vegetarian I had a good selection ?
Vegetarian options: There are quite a few, especially among the starters.

We are visiting from out of town and had such a nice visit at the Rubi Slipper. The entire staff is super friendly. The hardest part was choosing what to get on their extensive menu and truthfully we ordered too much bc there were so many good options. The fried taco was so yummy and was a last min add when we saw them go to a nearby table. The relleno was crispy, cheesy heaven. The green chili is AMAZING! Truly some of the best I have had. Our sweet server helped us excellent recommendations. The table side salad was fun and delicious. Luckily we saved room for the cheesecake flight which was the perfect sweet treat. Big margs, big beers and football was on. This restaurant is such a gem!
