Food was a little over priced for the quality but that is to be expected. What really got me was their pricing. It is noted that they add three percent if you use a credit card. What they DON’T tell you is that is is charged on top of your tip. Quite the scam. The server will ask you to pay at the counter with the lesser total on the hand written ticket. The cashier asks if you’d like to ad a tip to the total on the ticket. Then, they run your card with the total plus the 3% after the tip. I asked if there was a way to print a receipt reflecting the charge as it was a business expense. The manager told me that the credit card machines nor the register allow this(as they’re most likely doing under the table). She then handed me a menu and told me to take a picture of their policy. She was very unsympathetic as I’m sure this was not her first rodeo. Anyway, the lesson here is to be careful traveling to small towns and be weary of the small print. Someone is always looking for a sucker.

You must not miss this place! ! The restaurant and the staff, starting with the owner, are all so authentic! You can tell how they support and respect one another in the whole operation. They are totally unpretentious, yet excellent in what they do: greet, cook, serve, and give you a very fair price from their extensive menu and delicious food. From the moment we walked in the door tonight, it felt so joyful and welcoming. We are SO lucky to have found it. Thank you, all!!!

We ate here while staying in the area and we found it the day before we left. We were so sad that we couldn't eat here more!! The burger was great and the people were even better. Every single person checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed.
