I couldn't be happier that we decided to stop at this little gem, tucked away in the mountains. A truly special experience.

A real gem. Had the breakfast burrito and the pumpkin cinnamon roll (a special), and couldn't have been happier. Loved the spicy pork green chili. Can't wait to go back.

It has not changed in 25 years. Service? Do you still grab your own coffee mug? I assume they got the septic system working at some point. But the ambiance and the food was fantastic and it was wonderful to eat there before going hiking for the day... It looks like some things don't change much and in this case that is a good thing. A very good thing.
Look, it’s just the best breakfast you’ll ever have. Perfect omelettes. Homemade everything exactly the way it’s supposed to be. Small and intimate. No hurry. Why would you? It’s an experience to be savored. Say hi, talk to your neighbor. When you come back, bring some unique salt and pepper shakers. Listen to the wind in the trees. I come to RMNP every year and I will drive up here with pleasure from Estes. Get some water from Crystal Springs. Drive down ski road and into Rosevelt National Forest make a left at the fork. Get out of your car and sit and be quiet. It’s why you’re here. :) Enjoy.
Cozy place, great service. A place to take your time, breathe easy, relax.

What a great tiny breakfast place! We sat on the porch and had the perfect meal. I had the french toast and my hubby had biscuits & gravy,. The coffee was very tasty, with a hint of cinnamon (something I do at home too!) and our waitress was super sweet. The locals that came in ordered the giant cinnamon roll that looked to die for! 💋🤌🏻

Stumbled across this fantastic cosy spot tucked away in Allenspark. Service was warm & friendly, food was delicious, and the atmosphere out on the porch was perfect. If we were staying local for longer, we would definitely be back.

Great place to have breakfast after a night of camping in the national forest. The cinnamon coffee is incredible. I tried the breakfast grilled cheese - amazing!
The food and service I give them a rating of 10. It is awesome BUT they are NEVER reliable when they are open. People shows up and there is a sign on the door open later it is never open on time this is a true disappointment and it is very disrespectful to the customer not opening when they say they will be open
Soooooo cozy!! Loved this place and everything and everyone in it. Was a chill Monday morning with a few tables taken up inside. Was cool to learn from the waitress, Jenny, that it was built back in 1946 and still mostly original! I love the charm and decor, felt like going to your family's cabin. The wood stove was on and it felt so nice in there. I got their biscuits and gravy and a side of their pork green chili. The chili was REALLY good and spicy! Lots of meat and chunky, definitely need to check it out if you love green chili. The B&G was also very good and cozy. Huge portion! I was able to take leftovers. Can't wait to go back and sit on the front porch when it's warmer outside. They had specials and a different table got this fantastic looking blueberry cobbler thing that I wish I had stomach room for. Really cute and awesome little place. Highly recommend!
Off the beaten path in Allenpark, CO. The rustic home feels like you are going to grandmas house for breakfast. My son had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, Cheddar, eggs over medium on sour dough toast. It was huge, delicious and came with a large serving of homemade breakfast potatoes. I had the Rocky Mountain omelette it was loaded with mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers and onions. I chose the pancake as a side which included cinnamon honey butter. Everything was perfect. The cafe fits the feel of its location a small rustic old home, it is very well kept up and cozy! Service from the owner Jennifer was outstanding. Highly recommended for a truly hearty mountain breakfast!
I loved the atmosphere of the place. It's located in a beautiful area and is very heartwarming. The cafe has some of the best breakfast I have had in a very very long time. I loved my time there.
