A great stop on the railroad. Facilities are fine, the preserved buildings are interesting.The star of the show is the lunch served, and the "What the Truck" caterers are fantastic. Quick and well organized. Especially impressive was the food sensitivities board for anyone who needed it.Dietary restrictions: Good information on food contents.

We ate lunch here as a stop on the Chama railroad trip. A fantastic lunch. I had wonderful meatloaf and BBQ ribs and thet were as good as you can ask. The bean salad was the best.

We enjoyed our train ride. Lunch was way better than we expected with lots of choices even a vegan choice. All the servers were friendly. The restroom was clean. It was chilly at this stop but we didn't expect heat..the train has no heating either so we were prepared. Staff kept refilling their trays so nothing was ever out.

The trees were so beautiful. I loved the way the tour guide, explained about our tour, it was amazing. I never expected to have such a great day, every one was so nice, and respectful. I really, never experience to see and have such a grate day?.Parking: The parking lot was so full that we had to park, on the side of the parking lot, but it gave us a good walk , and got to injoy the ? sun.

A good buffet/dining hall food for lunch along the Cumbres-Toltec train line. Cornbread and BBQ pork where quite good! Vegetarian options were appreciated by the vegetarians with us. Had dessert and coffee. I liked how fast they were at serving everyone.

Love it! $20 in cash if you are driving up just for lunch. Food is amazing, homemade and flavorful. The meatloaf and kale salad were delicious and my favorite. Meal includes coffee and dessert. If you are driving up, best to get there by noon to be in front of the first train. There is some remodeling being done on the inside.

Apparently their kitchen burned down late Sept 2021 - but they don't feel it necessary to inform anyone. The Cumbres Toltec Rail riders who are supposed to have a hot lunch at Osier as part of the train package are instead given cheap bag lunches to be eaten outside in 30 degree weather with snow on the ground and ice on the tables. For the morbidly curious, lunch was a HALF CUP cold posole, salad, and a processed, packaged cookie. No drinks. Nothing hot to stave off the cold, not even a hot tea. Terrible experience. Most of the rail passengers on our trip waited over 30 min while it snowed on them and only got cold salad since the catering company spilled the posole and didn't correctly calculate amounts required to serve the rail passengers. Completely unprofessional, incompetent management. Pathetic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
