Really great dive. Wife and I have been looking for our go-to after settling here from further north on the Front Range, and 12 Volt so far is the most solid dive we have found outside Denver. Not a fratty sports bar, not a place you'll get beat up (as long as you behave, I assume..), just a nice hole in the wall with pool, darts, and good people. Sounds like the negative reviews were just disgruntled Karen's, so don't pay that too much heed. Looking forward to...

Had a horrible time here and got on Google to leave this review, but the staff came up to me when she saw what I was doing and got me into a headlock. I'm typing this review with my feet. The only reason I'm giving this bar five stars is because now I can type with my feet really well, and I owe it to the hardass blonde bartendress at 12 Volt.

This has to be the best bar in Old Town Arvada. I can't name many other bars you can just chill outside drinking. Indoor atmosphere was just like a typical dive bar but...cozy. Lots of regulars there the night I went. I will probably become one.
