You won't find a better bakery (or pastry chalet) in Colorado. The quality and the value of what they offer is off the charts amazing. Truly. I come from family owned businesses and they have a good thing going with many of the family members that have been there for many years. I got the wedding cake for my daughter's wedding in 2016 and my own wedding just a month ago.I have to drop the service to a four for because they refuse to adapt to the times and allow for credit or debit cards. They only allow payment by cash or check. And while I can respect the savings in fees, I would also be willing to pay much more to make up for the difference for them. Comparatively speaking, you will likely pay 50% less than other bakeries in town for a hundred times the quality. It may not be to my (or your) benefit, but I've told them on more than one occasion that they really could raise their prices.They are also a very, very busy place, with a single phone line (without call-waiting). So, I can't tell you how many times I've called and gotten a busy signal.They have heard my comments in person and simply reply that they are "just an old-fashioned business." 43 years old in fact, and still going strong.I will remain a loyal customer for life, as I truly love their products and staff, so I'll take the good with the "old-fashioned" and still recommend them often.

This is the best bakery in Arvada. Not only do they have the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had, but the service is exceptional. A family oriented, treat you like you’re their own. I may also be a little biased because I’m lucky enough to have my wedding right next door at Morning Side Manor! They will be making my wedding cake and I couldn’t be more excited. Truly an amazing bakery, there isn’t one food item there that won’t blow your taste buds away.

Das Meyers did a fabulous job on my granddaughter's cake! Taylor Swift cake was a winner! It was the best! A chocolate cake with layers of chocolate mousse. Everyone mentioned that it was the best cake they ever had. Thank you Dad Meyers!!

I wish I could say this was the best cake I have ever had, but I cannot. I drove almost an hour to get there because I have heard nothing but good things about their cakes. I purchased the strawberry champagne and it was probably the driest cake I have ever eaten. It was like biting into a dry sponge. The strawberry tasted artificial and the icing left a horrible after taste, all for $47. It was however the most beautiful cake I have ever purchased. For the price they charge, it would be really nice to be able to taste a small sample before purchasing like other bakeries do.

Ordered a cake for our daughter’s first birthday and we were disappointed. They did a different design than what my wife asked for (which we didn’t talk to them about so can’t say how they would have responded) and the cake itself just wasn’t good. We got the red velvet - it was dry and tasted like a boxed cake mix. Cream cheese frosting barely had any flavor to it. We had heard great things about Das Meyer, but we won’t be ordering from here again.

What a cute little gem tucked away. I came here on a whim looking for a dessert to bring to a dinner party and they were a hit! I also grabbed a loaf of their raspberry swirl and jalapeno cheese bread and oh my, so delicious and moist! We did as the owner said, and used the bread for some grilled cheese sandwiches.
