I am changing my previous 4-star review to 1 star because the issues here are clearly ongoing and start at the top.

I went back to Enstroms last Monday to give it another chance, and once again it was the exact same staff working. No hello. No welcome. Nothing at all. The older gal with glasses who talks a lot, along with two other younger employees, all looked exhausted, overwhelmed, disheveled, and completely burned out. That alone says a lot about how this store is being managed.

The manager was on the floor, a short older woman with glasses, yet every time I tried to get her attention she dismissed me and passed me off to other employees. It felt like she either didn’t know how to help or simply didn’t want to. Either way, no customer should ever feel brushed off when asking about the store’s own products.

Another employee helped me, a younger gal with glasses who was actually very nice. After that, I encountered the manager again at the register. There was zero acknowledgment. I stood there for nearly two minutes while she stared at the computer, clearly unsure of what she was doing. She looked completely confused. The last time I was here, she didn’t even seem to know how to make a coffee while helping another customer, which was already concerning. This time was no different. She never told me my total and simply said, “It’s ready.” No politeness, no basic customer interaction, just rushing through the checkout as if I were an inconvenience instead of a paying customer.

After the transaction, I asked for a bag and was told it would cost ten cents. Once again, it felt dismissive, almost like being told to hurry up and leave. She didn’t even offer the bag to begin with. That may sound small, but it perfectly sums up the entire experience. Disorganized, careless, and unprofessional. It was obvious she didn’t want to be there, and that attitude trickles down to the rest of the store. The other three employees just stood around doing nothing, clearly trying to look busy and figure out what they should be doing. They all looked completely clueless, like they were just there to be there.

The staff is not the problem. They are trying. The problem is management. These employees look burned out because there is no leadership. Get more people, train your managers and employees properly, and hold them accountable. Until that happens, this location will continue to fail both its employees and its customers. If this is the standard being set from the top, it’s no surprise the experience feels so broken.

Yes the chocolates are one of a kind, BUT, the icecream will put any other ICECREAM store to shame. The flavors are so delicious and rich with flavor, but not super sweet just perfect.

I stopped into Enstrom Candies recently (and go into this store a lot) and while the shop itself is nice and the treats looked great, my experience at the counter wasn’t the best, my coffee was wrong and kept getting asked what I wanted. Has no clue what’s going on. The taller older lady helping me was overly talkative and kept asking personal questions that felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I came in just wanting to grab some candy, coffee and go, but instead felt stuck in a conversation for almost 30 minutes, I didn’t really want to have.

The products are worth it, but the service could definitely use some improvement—more focus on the customer’s needs and be timely and less on prying into personal matters!

I took a group of people with disabilities to the candy shop in Arvada. The lady with the glasses was very rude to our group. She rushed the people with disabilities out of the store. I come here a lot with my family but not no more I'll also send that through the group chat to share that not to come here. Sad

This place is GREAT, so many items to choose from. Candy, Ice Cream, to specialty items. Go check them out of you're in the area.

This store is simply magical. They have a great selection of sugar free chocolates. Very polite workers and they wrapped my candy for free. Make a stop here.

This is basically a candy store. They serve coffee and there are cake & croissant options, but no tables. No bathroom. Prices are a bit high. Candy made in Grand Junction

Parking: They also sell ice cream and pies

Good place for a coffee stop, sweets for any occasion (they make holiday treats that are so cutely festive! We went in November so the treats were pumpkin and turkey themed) also a good place to let the small kiddos spend their tooth fairy money on "by the pound" treats, from the huge wall of jelly bellys to the chocolate malt balls, or lemon sours from when you were a kid. All sorts of sweets, and ice cream.

Walked in a half hour before close. The two working teens immediately said, “we’re only accepting cash,” and gave me the meanest looks I’ve received since high school. Felt like they were just saying that to not have to deal with any more customers today, but either way, an apology or a little friendliness would have been nice.
