I have driven by this place probably 200 times in my life and never realized it was a restaurant. When I discovered that it was, I had to try it as I have lived not far for a long time (and on the west side of town my entire life) and never knew it existed. It was great.

Definitely has its own vibe. I love that they open at 10 and close when they sell out. Something about not being so rigid is refreshing to see. The woman working the counter was extremely nice (and may or may not have paid for my Cannoli for it being my first visit).

Immediately you see that they have baked goods in the display. They also have other treats like pasta salad and soda. they also sell pasta sauce and fresh baked bread. I went with the meatball sub with cheese and peppers which was fantastic. It came with Lay's potato chips, and I had a can of coke with it. I also got a slice of the banana bread which didn't last long.

This place was great. A hidden gem. Simple but delicious food. A local secret of simplicity and great food. You can't really beat a place like this, and I am glad I found it.

Speaking of finding it, may I recommend some additional signage? I mean it when I say I have driven this section of Marshall hundreds of times in my life and had no idea this place was even a restaurant.

Anyway, great place! 5 -stars!

If you want delicious, no-nonsense food this is the place to go. We went for the first time and the gal up front was lovely and so helpful. We got meatballs and an Italian Grinder sandwich and both were incredibly tasty. They have cookies too and also various items you can take and make at home - we’re excited to get some fresh pasta and tomato sauce next time. Love supporting a family-owned place, we’ll definitely be back!

This is an absolute must try spot. We got a couple sandwiches (Italian and a sausage and peppers) and a cannoli and everything was basically perfect. The people that work there are awesome as well.

One of my favorite places to get great Italian sandwiches and desserts. I've only had a few different things but do want to try more.

Terrible customer service. I called to place a pickup order, as recommended by the website. After two failed attempts, I finally got through—only to be told I was “bothering” them, that I had “pissed them off,” and then was hung up on. When I called back, they answered and immediately hung up again. I only got my order placed after calling from a different number. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from any business. Extremely disappointed.

They never disappoint! Usually I do the Italian sub but today I did meatball and it was amazing.

Really small family owned place. The staff were extremely friendly to everyone and so courteous! Bread is amazing and I'll be back to purchase the homemade pasta.

The Italian Grinder was good. I think it could be a bit dry if you don't add:

Banana peppers
Mayo
Mustard (spicy brown)
Extra Italian dressing

You are welcome :)

Wow! Amazingly good! This reminds me of the small Italian spots in Chicago.Milwaukee areas that are hard to spot but are the best! My only regret is that I've lived and work so nearby and never noticed! My new favorite spot for old school favorites I remember from back home! Thank you!!!
