Celiac safe bakery with tons of options to choose from!! John was amazing and is a very passionate baker. Not only was everything gluten free but also dairy free, egg free and very allergen friendly. Other gluten free bakery’s in the Denver area that offer allergen friendly options oftentimes don’t hit the mark however everything we got from here was spot on. My favorite were the English muffins which I haven’t eaten in 10+ years, they gave me flashbacks. John even made graham crackers from scratch, very excited to make s’mores with those. Tons of options overall that you normally can’t find in the store. We’ll definitely be coming back to stock up on more gluten free goods!

Excellent bakery. Everything is gluten free, soy free, nut free, dairy free, and egg free. Despite all that, the texture and flavor of every item are outstanding. The quality at Gluten Free Things is exceptional and its easily the best gluten free food I have ever had!!

John is a true master of his craft.

P.S. Do not sleep on the cookie dough.

My Husband and I got the pie crust mix and it is super easy to use and tastes amazing. We made a Cinnamon Cherry, a pumpkin pie, and a chicken pot pie. With the left over pie crust we made miniature chocolate cinnamon rolls. Everything tasted so amazing and again super easy to use! John the owner and his wife Peggy are absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back.

The pizza crust was excellent! It was slightly crunchy, just the way I like it. I couldn't tell it was gluten free! So good! Yumm!

Take your time when you eat prepared foods from here. Each bite transports.
My first time here, the thing that caught me off guard was how the cupcake frosting felt, and tasted more like a ganache…obviously I was hooked and forgot to take a picture.
My second time I bought not only the chocolate chocolate cupcake, but also the chocolate chip cookie AND the cinnamon and vanilla graham crackers. THESE ARE THE FOODS WE WISHED WE HAD 20 YEARS AGO.

As someone who suffers from decision fatigue by the end of the day, I’m thrilled that I am able to walk in and buy not only prepared breads and cookie dough but also dry ingredients that John has specifically and carefully crafted to perfection.

Was just coming in to take a look at the things and the owner made me feel awkward like I shouldn’t even be looking at the stuff. Told him I was just looking at what he sold and he immediately asked me what do you do? As in for work, not sure what that has to do with anything lol. Couldn’t really shop in peace without feeling like I’m intruding the bakery? Didnt feel inviting at all and when i was leaving the door he’s shouts “you don’t want anything?” I don’t write bad reviews usually but there’s no need for a new customer to have an awkward experience as I walked in not knowing exactly what I was gonna buy. It felt like he was just staring me down like I was a threat LOL

First you should know that the owner, John will serve you. Apparently he is suffering from some complications from having a stroke and does have trouble communicating. Please overlook this because he is very nice and helpful!
The food is delicious! I got a red velvet cupcake, vanilla cupcake, cinnamon raisin bun and ice cream.
Don't be discouraged that they are frozen because they defrost quickly and taste super fresh and wonderful!

As you can imagine commercial leases are very expensive in the Denver area so it is not fancy and it is indeed small. But we all need to do our best to support these small businesses before they disappear especially those that offer gluten-free foods.

I absolutely love checking out new places and finding hidden gems, but I can sadly say, this was one of the worst surprises I’ve ever had.

We went right after lunchtime on a weekday and I was bummed to see that there was a very limited selection and the items in the fridge and freezer did not look great. They didn’t appear fresh, it was like they’d been in there for a while. And I’m not saying that to be rude, but the presentation was not there. And the bagged mixes were all things you could make at home, there wasn’t anything that made them special. And seeing some of the pictures attached to other reviews, the packaging I saw was very different…almost like maybe they had run out of their bags and had to improvise?

And the inside was just small enough that when we were looking around we felt boxed in and uncomfortable when (I think he was the owner) came over to us and said “what are you doing?” And it wasn’t in a light hearted way. It made us feel like we weren’t allowed to be there, so we felt extremely uncomfortable. He wasn’t very friendly and with him watching and following us around, we felt we should quickly buy something so we grabbed 2 items…there were no prices, no verbal confirmation or a receipt so I’m not sure what we paid, but he wasn’t very personable, especially when we mentioned this was the first time we had seen the shop. He said he’d been there for 15 years and was not pleased we hadn’t noticed it before.

I also wanted to take photos but again, with him watching us, I didn’t feel comfortable doing so.

Red velvet cupcake: 1/10 (my mom said 2/10 & my grandpa said 4/10)

Sugar cookie: 0/10 for everyone. It was so moist and soggy and the flavor was not there at all! It looked like a muffin top but was possibly the worst cookie I’ve ever had.

Tucked away behind Dairy Queen is this cute place. Flour, breads, cookie dough, cupcakes, and more. Many items are gluten and dairy free. Good place to visit if you have food allergies or simply wanting some yummy stuff.
Owner has a great sense of humor. Knowledgeable and super helpful.

We are celiacs and traveled to Denver for family. We were super excited about trying this place, but we walked in and the place was DISGUSTING!! The guy working there was very mean and their selection was very low and not what it looked like on the website. The guy was being sarcastic the whole entire time. You can tell that the owner doesn’t care because when we go to dedicated gluten free places we like to ask about the story of why they decided to open a gluten free bakery and all he said was “I know people with issues” like what the heck also when I was reading his responses and they said “we might try better next time”how rude!!!He was also eating food that did not look like it was from the place and isn’t safe because it looked as it was gluten. The kitchen workspace was visibly very dirty, things scattered everywhere and food left out on counters. We are very strict celiacs and he was not wearing gloves and offered us bread out of a random plastic bag . he was touching it with his bare hands, and that was a major health concern for us.I have no idea what the hype is about because the positive reviews are lies and don’t reflect on how the place actually is. In the positive reviews it shows pictures of food that is for sure not from this place. I also have no idea how this place is dedicated gluten free because it looked as no safety precautions were taken. Do not recommend coming here!! and it’s safe to say we will never be coming back.

Owner was rude and sarcastic and kept saying his food wasn’t any good. Made us super uncomfortable. We purchased 2 cookies that were basically raw dough. No flavor. Threw one away and at $5, that says something. Owners hands were coated in flour, took our cash without washing. Will not go back.

I’ve been gluten free for 14 years now and this cute little place was heaven for me! So many gluten free options. I got the giant cookie, edible cookie dough, loaf of bread, and some other things! It’s hard to find gluten free bakery’s so I’m so glad I stumbled upon them! Highly recommend if you are gluten free!
