Yummy food! Photo is of the Austrian plate (gravy not shown). It is a bit pricy but you cannot get this type of authentic food in many other places. It is worth splurging at Golden Europe from time to time. Note that it can be very busy at times, I would recommend eating here for lunch (and you get the cheaper lunch menu).

The pork schnitzel with the sour cream gravy + red cabbage and dumplings was incredible. Great flavors and huge portions. I also enjoyed the apple strudel that was served warm with vanilla ice cream. The Das Boot Hefeweizen was worth it. The service was on point. I will be coming back.

I grew up down the street from this restaurant and have eaten here countless times over my life. The service in this restaurant is unmatched. The family that owns the restaurant are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Whether you are a regular customer or a first timer you are treated like family. It is really hard to find that kind of service in the U.S.My reason for writing this new review now is because the dinner I shared with my wife and grandparents on 3/12/2022 was probably the most all around enjoyable dinner I have ever had. The service, atmosphere, and food were all incredible! I can’t believe how delicious everything was still despite frequently eating here. I can’t wait to go back! This is my absolutely favorite place to eat.

Ummm why did I wait so long to try this place. First off, it's adorable in person. It's so cozy and warm and feels like being at grandmas house. The food was delicious! I had the cauliflower soup, Jager schnitzel and tried the potato pancakes. These are big plates of home cooked love. New favorite place. My almost one year old was screeching so loud with excitement everytime she took a bite. I actually was getting worried she might get sick with how many potato pancakes she put down

This restaurant is truly a gem! Everything we had was very delicious and the portions are very generous. The beers are of course great and the selection of combinations really work well where you are allowed to select any two sides you like to complement the main dish. Highly recommended and looking forward to my next visit.

I drive by this restaurant several times a week for my job. It specializes in Czech, Polish & German food. I started with a mug of Gluhwein, hot spiced red wine. Nice balance of spices. I got an order of potato pancakes but was very surprised with the 4 large portions. They include apple sauce and sour cream. I had 3 and will take 1 home. For my entree, I had Jager Schnitzel (breaded and fried pork tenderloin with mushroom gravy and aauteed onions. I got 2 included sides, cucumber salad & sweet red cabbage. I also had a glass of Piesporter riesling, a sweet white wine. And of course, I finished with apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. They offer bratwurst and specialties. I will be back.

From soup to dessert, this meal absolutely knocked it out of the park. Some of the best schnitzel and traditional German side dishes you will ever have.But if you don't save room for one of the dessert dumplings you're gonna regret it because they are an absolute revelation.Can't wait to come back!
Golden Europe is always a treat! This visit I enjoyed the Vienna Chicken Schnitzel and apple strudel. The restaurant is cozy and the team is warm and friendly.

Golden Europe Restaurant is so so good! My go to's are the liver dumpling soup, Jagger schnitzel, Dijon schnitzel, spatzel, and red cabbage. The veal Brawt is also so flavorful. It's a busy restaurant so arrive early or be prepared to wait a bit. Food does come out quickly so it does seem like they turn tables quickly as well. I want to try the duck and pork loin on my next visit! If you are craving schnitzel and spatzel this is your place

I was very disappointed by this German restaurants. I do know that German food is difficult to master and make taste very authentic. But I had high hopes. I know that some may have a better experience than what I had, But I was simply not impressed. I've had better German food and know that this is not a place that I would go back for more German soon. I ordered the schnitzel what was OK. It came with the red cabbage Spätzle well you could tell that the red cabbage was to store-bought from a jar and the Spätzle was not real Spätzle.

Great local spot! My husband is German so he was excited to try this place out. And bonus that it's close to our house. The interior is so cute and I love the decor inside! It was the perfect meal for a wintery evening! We both ordered schnitzels- I got chicken and he got pork. They were both delicious! He also got a "boot" of beer that he enjoyed. We will definitely be back!
