No one likes cooking the night before Thanksgiving, so we went to one of our favorite Olde Town spots, Homegrown. The meatballs had perfect consistency and moisture. One of the best BBQ chicken pizzas and salads we've had in some time. Creme brulee cheesecake to close us out was just the thing.BRAISED TOMATO MEATBALLS: Tomatoes, Mozzarella, BasilSHAVED BRUSSELS SPROUTS SALAD: Spinach, Romaine, Blue Cheese (On the side since Mrs. @Diningcolorado is expecting!), Walnuts, Apple, Bacon, Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onion, Red Wine VinaigretteRUSTIC RANGER: BBQ Sauce, Smoked Mozzarella, Chicken, Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Oregano, Green ChiliCrème brûlée cheesecakeV: @diningcolorado
Awesome experience here. Waitress was very friendly and provided great service. Recommendations were spot on. We shared the Pig and pear pizza and the Homegrown pizza. Both interesting, unique and delicious flavors. Wood burning oven makes the crust special. Lots of beers on tap and wines for the non beer drinker. Atmosphere done right. Great spot.
This place is popular so be prepared to wait. We waited a long time for our food but did enjoy the pizza. They have a lot of delicious and interesting flavor combinations. Our waitress was very friendly. She had a ton of tables just on her own. She still managed to always be friendly.
I confess.. we have been there twice and I have yet to try the pizza. The burgers are great! I'll try the pizza next time. ?Over 50 brews on tap so you should be able to find at least one to satisfy your adult beverage yearning. Service has been outstanding in both visits.Food: 5/5
We were able to snag a seat at the bar and Noah on some pizza and drinks. The place was very busy. The pizza was good. I definitely recommend the chicken slider app. They have a lot of tvs and I want to go check out some Sunday football this season!
We found Homegrown Tap here on Yelp when we were looking for a pizza place close to Denver. We were traveling from out of town. Their pizza is absolutely the best I have ever had. We have had pizza many places in the US and let me tell you this place is not to be missed. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the candied bacon. The service was great and the town of Avada is precious! This is a place you don't want to miss!
Saturday morning stroll through olde town in Arvada and decided to have lunch and catch a few football games. Food was good and service was quick and plenty of TVs. They messed up the pizza order but brought us out a replacement very quickly. We had to move tables also because there was cold air blasting out of a vent directly above us. After moving and getting the right order, it was a great lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere for watching games.
Great Pizza, tasty with great crust, not too thick. We stumbled into this place looking for a sports bar and Hometown more than filled the bill. Excellent service although parking in old town Arvada isn't easy, enjoying the great atmosphere and attentiveness is worth looking for a spot. The entire neighborhood rocks.
Terrible customer service. I asked the server if they had any gluten free options and she rudely said they would be classified on the menu.
Came for some drinks and apps. Our group got Happy Hour meatballs, chicken parmesan sliders, and cheesy garlic bread. The bread and meatballs tasted like they were straight out of the freezer section of the grocery store. There was an off taste to the cheese. Not sure that this place would be a choice again in the future for food. Might come back for drinks only.
I ordered takeout and the person who took my order was super friendly as well as the person who helped me when I picked up. Service is 5+ stars. However, my pizza was all crust compared to the few times I’ve been to the Ken Caryl location. They were very light on the toppings and as you can see in the picture, the pizza to crust ratio is terrible. The brussels looked good but we’re small and hard. The food at Ken Caryl has always been amazing so I’ll probably stick to that location in the future. Also, picking up takeout in olde town Arvada is just really difficult because of parking. It took me about 15 minutes to get a spot.
Nice place with lots of TV’s. Meatballs were great- better than the pizza. Pizza was good, sauce is tasty- bar tender said they make it in house.
Delicious! Can’t believe we waited so long to come. Great pizza, awesome vibes, and an incredible beet salad (possibly the best I’ve ever had). We’ll be back!
Large menu of beer on tap. Probably guaranteed to find something for everyone. We also had pizza - pepperoni with sport peppers. Really good pizza! The waitress was very helpful in the beer order. Would definitely recommend. Also great people watching on the patio...
This place is located in old towne Arvada. They have inside and outside seating. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. They had a great pizza and salad special, so we took advantage of that had they Margherita pizza and the roasted beet salad. The pizza crust was slightly thick, but surprisingly crispy. The pizza was so cheesy and I’m saying that as a good thing. The pizza is supposed to be personal size, but after eating the salad, I had leftovers that I ate later on that day cold and it tasted just as delicious. The Venetian spritz cocktail was perfect for my patio dining. It wasn’t too sweet and it was refreshing. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. They do have a gondola table inside that is super cute. It’s a great picture opportunity. Parking: you do have to park in one of the town garages or the street.
