Is this Denver’s greatest coffee shop? I’m house sitting in the area and popped in for a coffee because I always want to support local business. First, the atmosphere is welcoming and has such a warm vibe. Chairs were filed with people engaging over a hot beverage - so good to see! This is clearly a place where people feel welcome to sit and relax. Now, my coffee? Holy new levels of awesome! I wasn’t expecting greatness but that’s what I received. It’s clear that House of J’s knows how to brew the perfect cup. It was so good that I returned later the same day for another. Even though I live way across town, I will be coming back again and again for this wonderful coffee shop!

I discovered House of J’s Coffee shortly after moving into the neighborhood, and it quickly became a favorite. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, the coffee is consistently great, and the staff is always friendly and kind. I especially love their support of local artists and creatives; it truly feels like a community space, not just a coffee shop. So grateful to have this gem in the neighborhood.

While they can be busy, I always feel the love and effort from every employee. It’s awesome watching this place thrive in a great community
We came here wanting to try something new..it seemed like they had someone training on the register on a Saturday morning when it was pretty busy, so naturally it takes a little longer which is normally fine but she was by herself and had to pull others away from what they were doing to ask questions about how to ring things in. Another girl helping make drinks kept playing with her hair while she was steaming milk and preparing drinks. Service did not make you feel welcome. No greeting at all just “what can I get for you?” We asked if one of the drinks was really sweet and were met with “I don’t know, I haven’t had it.” ….overall not the best experience. Hoping it was just an off day, but not sure. We would have stayed to drink our coffee but were very off put by everything so we just left. Coffee is fine, nothing out of this world though
