I used to live the in the area and never tried this spot even though I'd see it visiting the plaza. I've been living on the coast for a few years now and have gotten to know what good sushi is. On my recent visit home I regret not ever visiting this place. I don't know who their fish supplier is BUT THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. 10/10 will be back every time I visit home. Their poke bowl was the best I've ever had and I stand on that.

Tried this restaurant for the first time, and it turned out to be a great new find. We went in the evening and ordered two rolls:
Summer Roll (Rice Paper) – $15.99 8 pieces.
Fuji Roll (Deep Fried) – $10
Both rolls were really tasty and fresh, honestly some of the best fresh sushi I’ve had. The restaurant has a nice Japanese vibe, and the crowd inside felt relaxed and pleasant. 5 stars for food and atmosphere.
Here is the only complaint: the service was extremely slow. We were told the wait would be nearly 40 minutes just for these two rolls, even though the restaurant wasn’t at full capacity. Only two people were doing everything — taking orders and preparing the food — so the wait dragged. We decided to give it a chance to see if the hype was real. The food delivered, but if we had wanted to order anything else once our food came, we definitely didn’t want to wait another half hour.
Overall, it’s a great, clean, and tasty sushi spot, but because of the long prep time, it’s a 4-star restaurant for me. If you’re hungry or in a rush, this might not be the place — but if you have time, the sushi is worth it

I wasnt expecting much for a strip center sushi joint, but boy was I mistaken. The Yellow tail sashimi was out standing and fresh, the maki rolls were tight and flavorful, and the Monday specialty roll was excellent. My daughter loved the Miso soup and the crab puffs were hot and fresh!

Great sushi, good sake not much to complain about. They were doing pretty good business for a Tuesday night that may explain the longer wait for the food. I also prefer to have the sushi made in front of me so they do not have a bar set up personal preference. One girl was on her phone while the other one was working very hard and could’ve used the help.
