My husband and I absolutely love going to Jake’s! We go for dinner and drinks multiple times a month. Really great food and atmosphere, haven’t had a bad experience yet. It’s close to home and out of the craziness of Olde Town which is a huge plus for me! Just a cozy little bar with lots of friendly folks.

I mostly come here for free poker. The service is great and the prices are awesome. I don't eat when I drink, but people always order food here. It's a small establishment but the people are always friendly and I enjoy myself when I'm here. Plus there's 2 pool tables if ya get bored.
The bartenders are really nice. The kitchen is talked about more than the drinks on their menu. Everyone just kinda hangs out. Never had a bad time here. The back patio is really nice too. Definitely my favorite dive. Check them out! I know you'll be back again.

Super disappointed, went to see band. Friend ordered a Sex on the Beach. Pineapple juice was sour and gross. Bartender just dumped it... no offer for a new drink or apology.. In addition since the owner wants to argue that the drink wasn't gross. My friend had not made a request to use pineapple juice, she ordered a Sex on the Beach no alteration to the regular. When she complained about the juice in the drink we were informed by the bartender that it was pineapple. Either way the drink was sour and gross tasting, we all (4 people) tried it and it was definately gross and she wasn't touching it.

We had burgers that were disgusting. The patty was burnt on one half, raw on the other. The bacon was cold and flavorless, must have been cooked hours before serving. The fries were undercooked and we couldn't eat them. The piped in music was stupidly loud. The service was fine, the bartender also waited tables so it was difficult to get her attention to even complain about the food. We will never return. Too bad though, we love joints with live music, fortunately there are several places to enjoy live music with decent food and service.
