This restaurant did not prepare my meal to be vegan and then gaslit me into thinking it was!
This happened in December and I’m still so incredibly mad about it.
The box I received was entirely unlabeled.
I know that faux meat is becoming more & more advanced, but the pep smelled and tasted exactly what I remember real meat being like.
It was disgusting.
I went on their website and the pepperoni I received looked exactly like the one they are using in advertising that I assume is real meat. By this time, my meal was cold because I’ve spent an hour trying to determine if I can eat it. We called in to the restaurant and were assured that the pizza was made with vegan pepperoni and basil. However, the basil never made it onto my pizza so that comment kind of concerned me that no one actually checked.
I’ve been vegetarian for like 20 years, my body does not produce the enzymes to digest meat. Never in my 20 years has someone served me meat and then denied it and assured me I could eat my meal.
While the owner, who is vegan, apologized and refunded my order, I am traumatized from how this dining experience transpired.

Our absolute favorite pizza place. We had never had Detroit style pizza until another pizza place we used to go to had a wait but we literally never went back. We’ve since tried other popular Detroit style pizza places and none compare. We’ve been to all the pizza places in Olde Town and Mangiami has been our favorite since the day they opened up there. Also great wine, Caesar salad and overall vibe!

My 16yr old went in here to get a smothered burrito and a Cinnamon roll. $26 dollars later they give him a hand held burrito and some small gross Cinnamon roll. I went back in with him because they overcharged for the burrito that was supposed to be smothered and the waitress and I kept going back and forth her telling me the burrito is smothered, the chile is inside. That makes no logical sense, she then said she would refund $2 acted like she was doing just that on her hand held device and he has yet to have an actual credit back to his bank account. I have messaged them multiple times on all social media they have seen it and ignored it. They false advertise their prices, overcharge, and are not professional or respectful at all. They are stealing from a minor. Taking advantage. I have called as well and was put on hold and hung up on. Do not go here. They did not treat our Hispanic family with respect, so I wouldn't think they would treat any other minority with respect neither. Will not come back here and I will let everyone I know not to go here and my social media following as well. Just wanted to try somewhere new and now have added stress and a bad taste in my mouth with this business.

Father and son travel country making travel videos of downtown spots across the US. They spotlight small businesses and town attractions. They arrive in Arvada Colorado and the entire town is welcoming…until the pair get to Mangiami. At Mangiami they are met with hostility from two female employees and get the police called on them. That’s right. Employees from Mangiami called men with guns to come and take care of a father and son that are making a travel video that literally the entire rest of the town welcomed. These are the places I wouldn’t give a dime to and I wouldn’t recommend you do either.

We really enjoyed the food! We had pesto gnocchi with chicken breast added, mushroom Alfredo and the Cadillac pizza. Honestly great! We were so happy to meet the chef/owner as well.

We stopped here for weekend brunch and it was honestly amazing! The perfect vibe, the staff was wonderful, and the food was delectable. 'Nuff said!
Vegetarian options: The green Chile is vegetarian, impossible meat is available upon request + tofu options, and the staff was clear about availability!

We first came here on a whim. Ordered the Firebird. The waiter suggested we "turbocharge" it so we did. It was amazing!! We came back a second time and it was just as good as the first. Love music in the evening is a plus as well. Great laid back date night!
