Cute bar, decor and music on point, immaculate vibes. Your standard new age cocktail bar. What really puts me off is that they just straight up allow kids there. Nothing worse than when you’re trying to unwind after work with a thoughtfully crafted $14 cocktail to be disturbed by someone’s unsupervised child running around and being, well, a child. Bars should not be kid-friendly, really hate this new trend.

I sat at the bar for half an hour and was completely ignored by BOTH bartenders. I've been there several times and this experience put me off the bar for good.

Nestled in the charming back alleys of Olde Town, Marmalade offers a one-of-a-kind experience that effortlessly combines the spirited ambiance of a bar with the refined touch of a salon. From the moment you step down into this inviting establishment, you're greeted by an atmosphere that is both cozy and exquisite. The bar area is impeccably clean, boasting a design that cleverly allows guests to wander between sipping meticulously crafted cocktails and exploring an array of high-quality salon products. The dual concept is intriguing, offering something truly unique on a block known for its competitive array of eateries and bars.Adding to the charm is the live music, providing a backdrop of nostalgic and soulful tunes that enhance the overall experience without overwhelming conversation. It's a place where you can enjoy the company of those around you, engaging in conversation without the need to raise your voice.Marmalade stands out not just for its novel concept but for creating an environment where every visit feels like a discovery, a place where the night comes alive in the most unexpected and delightful ways. Whether you're there for the drinks, the salon experience, or the sheer joy of finding something new, Marmalade promises an evening that will linger in your memory long after you've ascended back to the bustling streets of Olde Town.Highly recommended for those seeking an evening of relaxation, good music, and great company in a setting that breaks the mold. The evening's drinks were exceptional. The bartender was a skilled craftsman, with stories of drinks and mythical creatures inked onto his arms. Each cocktail he crafted was a masterpiece. The Old-Fashioned and White Russian were prime examples of mixology at its finest - simple yet elegant drinks that required precision and care. Both were perfectly balanced, making the overall experience even better.

WARNING TO NON DRINKERS AND SOBER FOLKS. YOU MAY BE SERVED ALCOHOL WITHOUT KNOWING!!!!I'm not usually one to write a bad review in the heat of the moment. For context, I am 7 months pregnant. It's very visible. My friend and I walked in and no one else was there. We skipped right over all the cocktails to the "non boozy things" and ordered the "Carrot Ginger Mule". As we checked out we asked about the price because it was MUCH higher than we expected and I had to specifically say "that's listed at $7 on the menu" and that's when it clicked that there is apparently a cocktail with a very similar name and rather than clarify, he gave us the alcoholic version. We were then told "well you have to specify you want it non-alcoholic".Here's where I'm angry. When you search "mocktails in Arvada" this is the first place that pops up. No where on the menu does it say that you need to specify you are ordering from the non boozy side or you run the risk of being served alcohol. If you are going to market yourself as a place with non alcoholic options, there should be no risk of thinking you are ordering a mocktail only to be handed alcohol. If there is an item on the menu that could be confusing, your servers NEED to clarify. Not just for pregnant women but for folks recovering from alcoholism, or any other of a large list of potential health reasons. It is not the job of the customer to know the full menu.UPDATE: I have since spoken with Dani and while I won't change my rating, she did what she could to rectify and apologized on behalf of the bartender that night. I'm hopeful that our conversation leads to a discussion around the way the menu is built or to encourage staff to double check when an NA and a boozy option are available for the same drink.

Love the whole vibe here! They have some of the coolest gifts and scents. The owner is such a doll!

Came for post dinner drinks. The atmosphere was lively with classic rock songs and bright decor. We shared a Bartenders Special which was good but lacked some depth. Service was polite and punctual.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp descending from the entrance to the main floor.
