I am glad there is a hot pot restaurant here. Room design is beautiful and pleasant. food is fresh. What disappointed me was they were out of lamb on 10/26/2025. They better have noticed customers first about the shortage of lamb because we all know the importance of the lamb to the hot pot. Chicken broth is too creamy for me.

The taro coconut jelly drink to start was amazing.
Spicy broth was decent, not too hot. Tried all the meats except the dinner only ones and the lamb which they were out of, and they were all good, although the chicken was sliced so thin it would sometimes disintegrate when I would try to pick it up. I wish there were tongs for the raw meat - I ended up using my chopsticks, and then boiling the ends in the broth to disinfect them before eating with them.
The house sauce didn't have much flavor, so we mixed our own. The selection of veggies was quite extensive, but I was disappointed there were no little dumplings available like I've found elsewhere.
Interior decor is simple and clean. I appreciated that the ventilation was very good, so that it was cool inside and not hot and humid like at some other places, and all my clothes didn't smell like the broth afterward. Staff was nice and attentive, frequently refilling drinks and taking away empty dishes.
All in all a very good experience. Hot Pot Spot in Thornton is still my favorite, but Orion would certainly be 2nd place.

What a great hot pot place! I like Orion because you can serve yourself all the ingredients. They also have a wonderful selection of seafood to enjoy. The golden chicken broth was like a warm hug and a good chicken soup, with a bit thicker consistency. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Best HotPot in Arvada area. I choose the Golden Chicken Soup and its so tasty, i recommend to choose it! But they also offers several selection of other soup base.
The dish are flavorful yet enjoyable and the non-meat selection was fresh and varied (variety of veggies, mushroom, tofu, fish, balls).
The ambiance are warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends or family.
The staff are friendly and patient with newcomers, and do a great job of explaining the different broths and available meat selection.

My family likes hot pot. I do not. But I figured I could just order a couple of appetizers. Their website lists appetizers and a la carte items... and I have scoured their website and found no mention that they refuse to sell you something other than a hot pot unless you pay for the hot pot buffet. I'm not willing to spend a minimum of $20 just for the privilege to pay for a reasonably priced appetizer. Yes there's fine print on your menu; somebody shouldn't have to drive to your restaurant just to read it and leave.
When somebody walks in your door hungry and is prepared to give you their money, if for any reason you say no, that is a bad business policy. So although I believe my family enjoyed the food well enough, even their experience was ruined because I sat at the table hungry for a while before leaving to eat elsewhere. Since this restaurant doesn't work for my entire family, in the future, my entire family won't be returning.

If it wasn’t for the ladies bathroom, I would give this restaurant a 5. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent except for the bathroom. Nasty toilet brushes just sitting out, cleaning supplies thrown under sink, and stall is taped up so it can close. Reasonable pricing.
