Meet up with family for dinner. Loved this place, so historic. Food and drinks were delicious. We all ordered something different. Some of our favorites were the bacon wrapped dates, fried pickeles, grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup, the Ruben sandwich and the Greek salad. Our server did a great job keeping up with us.
Great atmosphere tasty food . Looked the lighting fixtures. Service was very friendly. O hot the meatloaf and the meatloaf was delicious.

Love this place. One of the few places, I know at least, to get an amazing Monte Cristo sandwich. They have great cocktails and great atmosphere.

The Food was great and the atmosphere is awesome. Whiskey collection is next level. The Ruben was excellent. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

I adore The School House Arvada and it's one of my favorite spots to bring folks when they come to town. Hannah was great when I came in for lunch. I mentioned I would be ordering take out to bring home for the hubby and she had it ordered when I needed it and before I asked. It's a fun spot with everything school themed and the food is amazing. A few of my favorites are the blackened salmon sandwiches or the french dip. Make sure to get the sweet potato tots as a side with their homemade ranch!

Just to be clear, I’m only talking about the food. Straight up, the food is not good. We’ve ordered the Chicken Sandwich, fries, and Mac & Cheese. We ordered one sandwich without the pimento cheese, sub cheddar, but they still put the pimento on the sandwich. Annoying, but whatever. The actual Sandwich was dry and the chicken was cooked very softly, not good breading. Fries were OK. The Mac & cheese reminded me of the ones I’ve had back in High School, which is not great. But I guess I should’ve taken the hint considering I ordered from “School House Kitchen and Libations.”
I’ve had a Buddy that ordered the Chicken Parmesan and he said it was one of the worst foods he’s ever had in his entire life. He described it as a piece of sloppy chicken. Topped with tomato sauce straight from the can, and the whole dish sitting on top of a pool of water.
Now, am I going to exaggerate and say it’s one of the worst foods I’ve ever had in my entire life? No, not exactly but… yeah, it’s pretty bad. It’s bad enough to make me consider how much money I’ve wasted paying for all of it.
I don’t usually do this but if you’re looking a nice meal to compliment your drink, go somewhere else. Literally, down the block, in walking distance are better restaurants such as Smoking Fins, Arty’s/New Image Brewing, or even Homegrown Tap & Dough. But not School House Kitchen and Libations. Perhaps the food is to die for if you’re drunk but that’s about it.

If I could give below a 1, I would. We received no service, rudeness from the bartender and server, and an additional server who took our drink order and disappeared. We started out mid-afternoon in open seating area of bar area at a table that someone else was done with. We moved the table 1 foot to be out of the sun and there was still plenty of room to pass in either direction. Remember, it's open seating which means sit wherever uou want. First server rudely told us to move somewhere else and when we didn't, she said she'd be back to take our order and never came back. Other employees were going moving in front of our table and never asked if we'd been helped. The bartender walked by and we asked to be served and she rudely told us to move to another area and didn't serve us. Now it's been bout 15 minutes, still no service. We moved over to dining room area and a server takes our drink order right away and disappears, doesn't come back. After 25-30 minutes total and still no service, we get up and leave and tell this to manager, for what it's worth.

Cool little restaurant and bar downtown Arvada. Plenty of good mixed drinks and whiskey to sample. Themed throughout, exact the place you imagined school should have been like growing up. Check out the bar if you get a chance. Food is different and delicious. Plenty of options to please most appetites.

Had a tough time setting reservations on the Web site but when I called they set it up easy. Food was good, service was great, and the selection of adult libations was better still. Place has a great vibe!

Lovely place. Great atmosphere, it was very quiet when we were there but there were other guests. We had. A great waiter and the food was delicious! We were upstairs on the outdoor patio and it was very nice! Would totally recommend!

This place is amazing! I loved when they had a school bus out front as part of the diner seating inside. They also have a great doggo patio and if you are into whiskey, a ton of choices. Be sure to check out the bathroom while you are there, if even for the detention memories rather than to use the facilities!

This is such a gem in olde town Arvada. The portions are huge and the queso could easily feed 4 people. We were provided with loads of chips and the queso flavor was amazing. I also tried a raspberry gose on tap and it was phenomenal. If you want a great atmosphere and folks who understand beer and pairings come here!

Another amazing place in Old Town. The food is of the highest quality and the staff makes it a fun place to hang out. The Margarita are perfect, like all the rest of the food and drink.
