Restaurant at some point was a school but it doesn't have any personality or decor. Except for some globals used as lighting. Kind of a drag. Food also left much for desire. Some sandwiches did look good.

Accidentally bumped into an off duty worker and he completely flipped out and came after our group for wearing hats in honor of our friend who couldn’t be there that day who loved to wear hats. We did nothing but spend money and respect our server. 8/9 of our people worked in the food industry and completely felt disrected by him. He cried to his co workers and demanded back up. I love this place but don’t respect his reaction for the situation. He refused to shake our hands a make amends. Never again.I’ve never seen an off duty worker slam shots and argue with customers. He made homophobic slurs about my friends hat. I’ve never seen a man act more like a child and keep escalating the situation.

One of their off the clock staff members, in a LA dodgers hat, made a problem out of nothing. Our group was celebrating a birthday party and had abnormal hats on and the off the clock employee bumped into one of our members hats and made a big deal about it until I confronted the off the clock worker asking him if we had upsetted him and why. He said it wasn’t us but proceeded to argue to the workers until they said we needed to exit the bar. Everything was fine until the LA dodgers hat guy came into the bar and started an issue with our funny hats on.It was my 4th time at schoolhouse and honestly this experience ruined my future experiences with this bar. They handled this situation very poorly.We spent over $100 and our group was told to leave immediately based off assumptions from an off the clock worker drinking at the bar.Saying we called the off duty worker a homophobic slur is 100% a lie. In fact, he called my train engineer hat gay as I was walking out so maybe he’s just confusing the story with himself. It’s a shame your management is responding to comments with lies.

Was kicked out of this bar for wearing silly hats for a birthday hat theme party and somehow it was offensive? Including a Nemo hat, a crab hat, tie dye, frog hat, etc. If this bar did not like our hats they could have nicely asked us to take them off but instead one of the off duty workers after taking shots off the clock bumped into one of us as we were SITTING at our table and made it into a big deal when it wasn’t. We tried to speak to this off duty worker to resolve things and he didn’t want any part of that so he went over to his coworkers and started aggressively pointing at us. We then were aggressively rushed out of this bar and yelled at by the owner. 8/9 of our group has worked in the food industry and this service was terrible. This off duty worker clearly had a problem with us and our silly hats for no reason at all. On top of the terribly mixed cocktails and bad customer service. Will never be back to this bar.And to folllow that, the response to this review below is insane no one at our table called anyone any slurs.? Hilarious of the owner to try to make that remark and lie. This establishment is a joke.

Cool and tasty food. Server a little inattentive. Had to make multiple requests for the same items.Dietary restrictions: Had lots of entries that work with keeping blood sugar spikes at bay.

There's so much to look at and the food is amazing!! They have a blueberry lemonade drink that is wonderfully dangerous/delicious & I am looking forward to our next visit (hope the carrot cake trifle is available)

We dined in, sat in the bar area, it was Happy Hour & very busy, so our waitress was also helping out behind the bar! Very noisy, with my hearing aides.Parking: Parking lot was a block away, so we walked that block. Mid-afternoon parking was no problem.
