I just wasted 20 mins trying to ask a simple question, checked the website, called, no solution. It would be nice to talk to a person but it's impossible

As a new hunter, that just dropped off their 1st buck, the drop off process at this business and finding it can be a little confusing and intimidating. All I can say for the staff is..a little patience goes a long way , and some kind instruction and explaining on how your process goes.

Steve's Meat Market does a good job.

Don't make the mistake of parking or pulling through their parking lot even if they aren't open or have 0 customers. The owner, I assume with her big attitude comes out barking and then proceeds to try and intimidate and cuss you out even with 2 children in the car. Also bringing out men to help with the intimidating. THEN calls the cops and LIES saying she was threatened with bodily injury by a weapon. Which did not happen. Do you always make false reports to the police? All because you couldn't handle a car near the edge of your lot for 2.5 minutes. You're a miserable, MISERABLE person and i hope you have the day you deserve.

Well Amy. I'm exhausted after reading your response to my Google review last night. I know you're the owner there and know you have issues with being rude and disrespectful to people. Just read some of your reviews! Anywhooo. Just so you have your facts straight. 1- there were 2 children in the car when you and your cronies decided to surround the vehicle yelling. 2- there was no threat made to you and yes, we have witnesses3- you've been reported for false reporting to the police last night that you were threatened. It just didn't happen. But good try. 4- respect and kindness is free. Maybe knock the chip off your shoulder and learn how to have respect for others. I can do this everyday. Just so your customers can see what kind of person you are.Maybe if you would've approached the situation with respect and kindness, maybe it would've went a little smoother? Ya think? I bet your dad is so proud. Again, you have the day you deserve.

As prior customers have mentioned, I've been using Steve's Meats for roughly 15 years for processing of Whitetail deer. They continue to provide a seamless process with online booking of appointments and tremendous meat offerings. The individuals receiving carcasses are always kind and office staff are patient while making selections. They are busy, but that's what happens during prime big game season. I've never felt that my business was unwanted and being a perfectionist in nature, I highly appreciate how organized and clean their operation is. Thank you to the entire crew!

Been using Steve's Meat Market for many years now and loved the family-owned business and culture of care and customer service. I would bring multiple animals in as well as send the heads to be mounted by Ryan their son who lives out of state. Spending anywhere from $2-5K annually as a customer. That has changed as many have written in the past few months. I wanted to share this years' experience with you all. Drop off was great however at pick up I was disrespected by the drop off staff for being parked there a few minutes prior to opening for pick up. Then verbally yelled at and cursed at finally threatened. The individual was one of color, not that it matters but sounds like the management team plays dumb when it comes to who it was of any disciplinary action. For the record I have many friends of color so no I am by no means one that discriminates any race or human. What topped it off was when that individual removed his belt and grabbed the knife in it threatening me when I simply asked to not curse and be more professional. begging me to step out of the pickup with people sitting on the street listening in shock. Very disappointing overall, I will be finding a new processor moving forward.

How this place isn’t 5 stars blows my mind, they’re absolutely incredible. If you hunt and don’t use these guys in the Denver area, you’re crazy.

I'm not sure what these negative reviews are all about... I swear they have to be from local competitors.I've used Steve's the last 3 years (21', 22', and 23' this week!) for my elk processing and they've done a fantastic job! They offer great products and are extremely professional. They do have a few rules to follow when dropping off your game, so just make sure you do your research on their website.Otherwise, the folks at the drop-off are super helpful and nice! I am yet to have anything other than a great experience with this place.

I have used Steve’s meat market for over 10 years and they always get me in and out. They have the best flavors for their processed meats and it’s always a great experience… I’ll be bringing my elk in tomorrow.

If I could do negative stars I would... found myself in the unfortunate situation of being unable to get through to the Rheinlander access road. I attempted to get to the alley through this parking lot (which was empty) instead. I was met by a very rude individual who physically stood in front of my vehicle even after I explained I was just trying to get through to the alley. Was forced by this individual to back out and go the wrong way to exit "his" parking lot. I will NEVER do business with this company and will ensure everyone I know hears about it as well. Based upon reviews, it doesn't sound like I'm alone in this experienc.
