Update. Saturday, Jan 20 ,2024. I gave a fantastic review a year ago when stix opened, HOWEVER, I went there today to have lunch with my wife to watch the Avs play. The bathrooms were absolutely horrific. So disgusting like nobody had cleaned them all week. Trash cans overflowing and the toilets were so splattered with, well stuff, that it turned our appetites off. We ended up leaving. I hve high hopes for this place as it is considered an Avs hangout which Arvada really needs.I would be embarrassed to bring a guest there. I hope you all figure this out asap. I would live to come back

They were out of almost all alcohol. Half the menu was "sold out". I ordered a bbq chicken flatbread that was supposed to have green onions and bacon etc and I got a tortillas with bbq sauce cheese and chicken. The bathroom didn't even have toilet paper

Visited Stix for the 1st and last time tonight. The terrible club music was blaring, the restaurant was dirty, we waited forever for our wings and they were underwhelming. There were tons of staff going in and out of the kitchen. Touching their faces, wiping their noses, using their phone, and then going on the food line. It was just a bad experience. Such a bummer. We love Olde Town & hockey, but definitely won’t ever return.

Very inconsistent hours, a staff that is needlessly stressed out, and a place that I had not heard one positive word about since even a visit there. I feel a lot of TLC is needed to make Stix feel like a respectable bar in Olde Town.

STiX was a real disappointment. The service was very slow from the time we arrived. Several of their advertised draft beers were tapped. It took 40 minutes for our food to come out (it wasn't that busy), and the food we did order wasn't very good. My burger, ordered "medium," came out like a hockey puck. Maybe that's appropriate for a hockey bar? Either way, I won't return to STiX. Too many other great options in Olde Town Arvada! I didn't give this review 1 star because they weren't entirely out of beer, and I didn't get sick from the food. The staff appeared overworked/understaffed, so I'm sympathetic. But however you explain the situation, it wasn't an enjoyable experience.

Went and watched the Broncos game. Lots of space for larger parties and lots of TVs. Great to have a few beverages.

Man, I had such high hopes for this place but it's gone way too down hill. Supposed to be a HOCKEY bar, but I'd even settle for a decent sports bar. In there on a Friday night and the TVs at the bar are 1) Nothing, 2) Replay of high school football (on 2 of the 5 TVs), 3) Food Network.Even more of a bummer is what the food has become. Used to be one of the best French Dips in town, which now has become one of the worst. Tough meat, stale white bread, etc. Won't convince me any of the ingredients are the same they were a year ago. Bad sandwich and one beer shouldn't cost me $37.You were supposed to be my olde town savior, Stix :(

If you are an actual hockey fan...this place is not for you. Never once offered food. They have a jukebox but if the mgr doesn't like your song they will turn the volume down and lie to your face. I gave this place 3 chances and they failed every time.

This was the second time we have been here, first time was a couple of years ago, and we won't go back. It took us 3 hours to get dinner, and for 2 of us it cost $100 for a meal each and a few drinks. They were so understaffed it was ridiculous. Also everything we tried to order they were out of. When we finally found something to order it was mediocre at best. And the bathrooms were horrific!!! Never again.
Awesome hockey bar. Awesome drinks... personally always do the Sniper once. Good food to.

I was really looking forward to trying this place out. 2 stars is being nice. Horribly understaffed. So, poor service and food (cheese curds were very undercooked). Though the servers were friendly, despite being overloaded. It was primetime on a Saturday night, an Avs, Nuggets and Buffs game on at the same time. Even with many tv's, they had USC and Michigan on instead of the Buffs game.

I have been coming here for a year now simply because it’s so hard to watch hockey & I know this place has it. After today, I won’t even return for that. The service was absolutely horrendous. Very inattentive, sometimes rude waitstaff/bartenders. We went for the 11am Avs game and brunch. Every egg was overcooked. One meal was completely wrong. We waited for over an hour for food. There were no apologies for the wait. The waitstaff seem more interested in watching the games than doing their jobs. Despite the great environment and plenty of Avs fans, I just can’t come back. I’ve never had an above average experience here. Save yourself the time and get the Fubo subscription to watch the games.

My sister niece and I came in for Monday night football (Greenbay). There was 1 person behind the bar. There were no waitresses. My sister had to ask twice to get a beer and there was a bug floating on top. They were out of Coors light, she couldn’t make the drink I ordered because they were out of Pink Whitney. They also had no prime rib which limited the food options.It’s a shame this place is so poorly managed as the environment is awesome. Great for a game night and the outdoor patio is awesome.Unless you plan on just watching the game I would not recommend nor would the people at the table next to us.
