The waiter was the highlight here. The food for what you pay is NOT worth it, not upscale and expensive. We ordered the appetizer at $22 of pasta and bison rib. Presentation was awful, one rib stuck on top of a small portion of pasta. The worse was we had pepper tops in the pasta! Too lazy to take the top of the pepper stalk out. The burger for $25 was ok, but the waiter comment when he brought it was “you are going to love our fries they taste like McDonalds!” Not a selling point! Price are high for what you get, $55 for a steak.way too pretentious. We came here after checking the menu out online which looked good and reasonable. When we got there they only had their fixed menu at twice the price, very small selection to choose from. Buyer beware

You might be saying it’s a little expensive. But it’s totally worth it. And get the bread rolls

I’ll preface this review moving from the northeast where good food is plentiful. I’ve been dissapointed with the food in general in CO, but this takes the cake.
While this place looked great via photos and the prices made you feel like you were expecting by a good meal, we were very disappointed. This is a common theme in Colorado as most people here are culinary deprived and just want to feel special because they are spending money.
It took us maybe 45-50 minutes to get our entree which isn’t ideal. Additionally the red snapper tasted like you walked into Hmart with your mouth open. The pork tenderloin was over done and now we’re at smokin fins for a sushi roll because the portions were too small.
Won’t be back.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Stone Cellar many times since it opened. Tonight was such a standout dinner. The peach and watermelon salad was perfection--ripe and crisp. The wedge salad with the blue cheese dressing and bacon with fried shallots was an upgrade to a classic. Ribeye, with potatoes I didn't know I had missing all my life. There are few restaurants that are consistently delicious and seasonal and Stone Cellar hits the mark every time. Thank you for always wowing me.

Food was delicious! The ribeye was marbled and was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were delicious as well as the goddess salad. Every dish was satisfying for sure and we will be back.

One of the best restaurants in Denver!! Been here several times and can't recommend this place enough! I love the constantly changing menu. It keeps the experience really refreshing and it's exciting to see what new things they making. Also try their cocktails which also are some of the best in town as well!

My husband and I went here for our anniversary/Valentines dinner. We live in the neighborhood and have been wanting to try it and I’m so glad we did. Every single dish we ordered was incredible from the hand stuffed blue cheese olives for a dirty, to the rolls to the main dishes. We loved how the post their farms their work with on the menu! They rotate their menu so it’s likely you won’t have the same thing twice besides a few staples! This was the best meal we’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Stone Cellar will be our go-to date night spot from now on!

Our son and his fiancee took me and my husband here for dinner on a special occasion. It was the perfect place to celebrate. I believe the chef changes the menu every month. We began with the Parker rolls that are made in house--they're not complimentary but an absolute must have for your meal. Think elevated King's Hawaiian rolls that are crispy and warm from the oven with a scrumptious brown butter on top and coarse salt. Our salad was a cherry tomato and basil mix on a bed of delicious dressing. It was so good, our entire table wanted more. My husband and I shared our entrees of pork belly and roasted chicken. I've never had pork belly honestly and it was very good but I'm not sure I would order it again. The gravy was a 10, as was the accompanying kale/squash salad, but in the end, I'm probably not a huge pork belly fan. My husband's chicken was perfectly prepared and the hush puppies and corn sauce were divine. We loved the service--not rushed, elegant but casual, attentive but not rushed. We can't wait to return!

Been here three times. Review is long overdue.
Not cheap, but great food at good restaurants never is never cheap...
Hands down....they have the best damn fried chicken on the planet.
Pork Shoulder is to frickin' die for.
Service? Hit or miss....giving them a free pass since great help is difficult to find. We sat for about an hour waiting on our chow...granted they were busy as all getup. Served another table that showed up about 20 minutes after us before we got our chow....hey, it happens or maybe the folks next to us had a reservation or something.
Yet, waiting nearly 60 minutes for grub is a bit too long no matter how tasty. When I got up to speak to the wait staff (to see if they were maybe out of the pork shoulder and perhaps offer an alternative) the hostess intervened with vigor.
The hostess is very passionate about this joint and it shows...you decide whether or not that's a good thing.
It's a cool joint with wicked-cool tables and decent drinks. Go when you're ready to throw down some seriously tasty, high-class truck chow and splurge a bit. As for myself? I'm gonna hold the gains and maybe wait 'til they hire another hostess. She bothers me.
