We had an amazing experience at Stone Cellar last evening. Everything was excellent with perhaps the only exception being the restaurant's attention to dietary restrictions. We had tried SCB a while back and with our gluten intolerance we struggled to make the menu work for us. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed much. We had the same challenges last evening. To be fair, the chef did his/her best to accommdate us by adjusting the entrees to suit but that unfortunately took away some key components that left the dishes that we ordered, lacking. It didn't work for either of us.Our experience is that most restaurants are now well advanced with their ability to offer dishes that are either dedicated to certain dietary restrictions or can be modified to keep the integrity/design of the dish.Oh, by the way, the gluten free buns were really good! That helped make up for the dishes that didn't quite work. We'd love to know where those were sourced.Having said that, the Bib Lettuce salad was incredible and the service (Christian) and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. We're hoping SCB can advance their ability to better accommodate dietary restrictions as we truly want to love this place since it is one of the best restaurants in Olde Towne Arvada.Dietary restrictions: See our general comments.

I'm lucky to have enjoyed dinner at many of the Denver area restaurants...but c'mon...is there a better place than this? Perhaps the most innovative, tasty and beautiful dishes I've ever experienced. Please take the time to investigate this place...and enjoy!

The drinks were yummy and the food was quite good. Watch out for the kitchen tip charge - my daughter told me later it was stated on the menu, but I missed it and ended up giving a 30% tip. I'd prefer places would increase the price of the food the kitchen is preparing instead so I at least know what I'm paying.

Another outstanding evening at Stone Cellar Bistro. An exquisite experience from beginning to end. The hostess is one of the best we've ever encountered. Our waiter Rob, spouse of the hostess, -- OUTSTANDING. Rob has a great grasp of the menu and could explain each dish. On to the food, which matched the service. This is our go to restaurant. We LOVE this place and its the employees, from hostess to chef, who make it such an outstanding restaurant. This was our 5th visit and we've never had a bad experience. See you again in a few weeks.

My husband and I had one of the best meals of our life at Stone Cellar. The tartine was creative, beautiful, and so so delicious. The pork shoulder was out of this world. The wine, the plating, and the food are all so well thought out. Such attention to detail. We just couldn’t have had a better time and cannot wait to go back. What a gem of a restaurant!

The best. The hostess sets the tone for the evening, and she was absolutely delightful. Our server, Rob was very personable and on point the entire evening. The wine was delicious. We were lucky enough to come for a restaurant week which we were miunaware of the special menu. it was amazing and we were so glad we lucked out. If You are wondering whether or not to come here, the answer is absolutely absolutely YES. Be sure to make a reservation…

Our second time to dine at Stone Cellar. It didn't disappoint. Beginning with the wonderful service to the wonderful dinner rolls, smoky martini and on to the chicken with little dumplings and mushrooms, everything was wonderful. We will probably dine here again. It is sooo good!

Good food but small portions & overpriced. After dinner digestifs in dollhouse size glasses.

Originally San Franciscan; I found Denver restaurants… wanting, until Stone Cellar opened. The food is reliably excellent, innovative, and delicious! The atmosphere is hip but not snobbish- and the staff are all friends and relatives so you somehow feel included when you get to know them. By far Denver’s most excellent bistro - if you like fine but not exorbitant dining check it out- you definitely won’t be disappointed !

Great Night! From cocktails to dessert everything was superb, service included. 3 in our group had the ginger leigh cocktail. a well balanced ginger cocktail with an absinthe finish. A great cocktail. The Smoked Walnut Manhattan was also an excellent boozy drink served with a smoked glass. We then had the Parker rolls, a must, with the snapper crudo, NY Strip tartare and Wildfire fried chicken. The Snapper Crudo was an incredible dish with fresh kumquats balancing the flavor of the snapper and broth perfectly. The NY Strip tartare was exquisite served with a rye crouton and capers with charred onion. It was delicious. The Wildfire chicken was a hit as well served with hot honey. We skipped a salad and had the kim chee pancake. WOW! Packed with flavor and a little heat, it was a great different veggie! For entrees two of us had the Wild Sea Bass roasted in brown butter, served in a meuniere sauce with a potato hash brown. The sauce also had marinated artichokes adding to the robust yet subtle flavors complimenting the Sea bass. My son had the slow cooked pork shoulder. This was my favorite iteration of the pork entree. Served on grits, the flavors were wonderful. My daughter had the chicken. We never order chicken when we go out, but we have ordered at SCB and have they have never disappointed! For dessert we had the almond sponge cake with orange blossom buttercream and an Amaro...as close to a perfect evening as you can come!
