My husband and I both ordered the mango roll and the garden sushi burrito each. The mango roll was just okay, definitely not worth the money spent on it. I wish I has just ordered the avocado roll, which was half the price. The reason for the three star review is that my husband's garden sushi burrito was almost twice as filled with sweet potato and avocado as my own, which was disappointing to me. I wish there had been some consistency amongst the orders.

I ordered the sumo Burrito. There is no mention of fish eggs on the board. I was severely disappointed when I got home. I also wish they didn't fry their pork buns but thats just chefs choice. My main complaint is just not listing all the main ingredients. Edit to add I will be going back just with more knowledge and will be asking questions. I shouldn't have to, though. Your ingredients should all be listen. But this place is yummy.

Rolls were rather boring. Sub-standard, but still edible sushi. Certainly better than grocery story, but I'd rather eat else where. Works in a jam when I'm craving it, but don't have time to drive down to Sushi Aji. Atmosphere is horrible. Loud music and a lot of uncontrolled screaming children. So best to-go.

Got the spicey tuna poke bowl and 1 pork bao bun. Overall, bummed out as the quality of the food versus cost just wasn't there. Tuna smelled and tasted off. I don't expect fresh tuna but there was something not right about it. Poke bowl itself was a small portion amout for the cost and did not have much rice to it. I just ended up trashing the food later so maybe a good thing not having throw away so much food. The bun of the $4 single Bao bun was greasy fried with one little square of pork in it. Not terribley bad tasting just the grease overwhelmed the the entirety of the pork bun flavor and the akwardeness of having 1 small square block of pork in the middle of the bun rather than evenly distributed so you get pork with each bite.

While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more.

The owner of Sushi Kuro directed me to the Maui Wowie Roll and I now have a new favorite. Everything about it was delicious. There were many layers of flavors that were balanced perfectly! I will definitely be back for this roll soon.

Completely mediocre experience. Ordered a roll and it took them an inexplicably long time to make it. Came before lunch rush. Roll itself was just OK. The wood tray they present it on, while cute, seems incredibly unsanitary and impractical for sushi. Too expensive for what was received. Not getting sushi here again.

Love sushi Kuro! The sushi sandwich is the best. However, the burrito comes in a close second. Also, love the people who work there! Always kind and thoughtful!

Great sushi at a good price, strongly recommend the Burrito Burner. And now sushi tacos on Tuesdays? Awesome. The owner, Taylor, is super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does and how he does it. Fantastic business and they have my support at both locations - here, and Zeppelin Station in Denver. Looking forward to their new Ramen menu, too!

Just ok. We have tried specials which include poke bowls and ramen as well as sushi rolls and I just don't feel like the quality is consistent. Today we got a few pieces of salmon sashimi with our takeout order that were white and not fresh. Every other time we get this it is good which is why we keep trying. I hope they can get their quality back up.

Fire. Best place in the food hall. Got a sushi burrito that was delicious and made very quickly. The mango and tuna one. Friendly customer service. Go here if you are in the food hall.

Fun Fact: Sushi Kuro, located in Freedom Street Social, offers rolls, sushi sandwiches, and sushi burritos! This vendor put forth an eye-popping array of sushi rolls, including a new idea: the sushi sandwich! Freshness and flavor indicate great sushi, and this spot hit all the notes, including the expectation of an artistic presentation. The platter arrived quickly and with a warm smile from the head chef. I sat back and enjoyed every bite in this welcoming, bustling, yet relaxing, community food hall.
