Met some friends here for the first time and love the place. Drinks are kind of pricey, but good quality, and there’s been lots of thought put into the atmosphere. Nice patio with pretty curtains to block the sun and plenty of plants. Friendly, attentive staff. We’ll be back!

This was my first time visiting Talnua from out of town, I read about it online as I had hoped to see some local distilleries while visiting. I love Irish whiskey and having never had SPS American whiskey, I was intrigued. Luckily, it lived up to my expectations and then some.
There's a really nice tasting room with plenty of seating and good vibes. A big window into the distillery with the pot stills visible too. Jen was super friendly and helpful and talked with us about all the whiskeys. We happened to run into the distillery Patrick as well who told us about their gin and the process. I would have planned to take the tour, but sadly I was too slow and there was no availability that weekend. Definitely something to do next time.
The whiskey itself is fantastic. We tried 6 expressions and enjoyed every single one of them. My favorite was the 2024 Old Saint's Keep, but I actually really enjoyed the Heritage Selection (Blend of American and Irish), which was super light and tasty. Would make a fantastic highball. We also sampled the regular and barrel aged gin, which both were great too, along with the coffee liqour. If I had more space in my baggage, I would have likely left with a bottle of each. Thankfully they have shooters, which is super nice for thosw that don't want a full bottle but would still like a sample to take. Lastly, I also had the Baklava old fashioned which was delicous. The rest of their menu was creative and I likely would try more given the opportunity.
Overall, would highly highly recommend if your a fan of whiskey, especially Irish, but there is definitely much to enjoy for all, whether it's cocktails or sipping.
