This place has become a go-to for me and my friends whether it's for a random dinner out or a birthday dinner, they have great food, great drinks, and great service. I've been going here off and on for the last year or two, don't understand why I've never written a review until now but we were there last night again for another birthday celebration with some friends and I said to myself I got to get a review out to these folks, not that they really need it, but still felt compelled to put my thoughts out there. The drinks are great I normally get the El Jefe or the Diamante, but the house marg is always a good standby. For the longest time my normal go-to was any one of the Tijuana style tacos that they have, the last time I was there I decided to branch out and I tried the Adobo Tuna, which may be my new go to now. It was so good. Always a great time there! I also have a friend who is a vegan and they have plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans and they don't make it awkward.Parking: They have a parking lot, but it's kind of small, One of the only complaints I have about the place is some folks will park in a no parking zone making it a little difficult to back out of an actual spot, and no one seems to enforce it.

Showed up without reservations on a Friday and understandably had to wait, waited around 40 min in that time a couple that came in after us (the man had a scooter for an injured leg) without reservations as well began to wait, they were seated before us after making a big stink to management. We have enjoyed a meal here in the past but was disappointed in the handling of people being seated.

Cute little taqueria. I got a tempura avocado taco and OMG, it was delicious! Likewise, the queso fundido, pineapple salsa, refried beans, and churros! So delicious! Our waitress was wonderful and super helpful. Overall a terrific experience.

I eat here very frequently and love it! I’m gluten free and this restaurant is 100% GF as well! My favorite is the de birria tacos and the chicken quesadilla! Wait can be long on the weekends, especially Friday night. Staff has always been polite and friendly! I once got home and realized I received the wrong order and when I called the store they were very apologetic and offered to remake it or have it refunded to me. Everything was delicious, especially the pork carnitas! Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Another person at my table got the carne asada which was also delicious and perfectly medium as she ordered it.
This used to be our favorite place, but the past few times it seems the quality of the food has gone downhill. The pork belly tacos used to be melt in your mouth tender and delicious, but lately it's been hard and chewy and not nearly as flavorful. The carne asada also isn't as good.Queso Fundido is still a 10/10 though!

I've been twice, and every time the food is absolutely ridiculously delicious! Excellent food, friendly service in a nice setting. We went in a large group and had a chance to try most taco options, where pescado, carne asada, carnitas, cotija, bigsky tuna were excellent. We also tried the whole fried fish, the half and half enchiladas that blew us away with a delicious mole sauce. The apps were excellent - ceviche, street corn, brussel sprouts and guacamole.Lastly for dessert we had churros and Mexican pans cota and both hot the spot!

Hesitant to leave a good review because I don’t want this place to get too popular, but instead I will not be selfish and let you know Teocali has some of the best tacos not only in Denver, but in the state of CO. I’ve had a lot of tacos. Also service is always on point and super speedy. Brigette killed it.
