A great third-space! From the decor to the staff, Thanes Table is a cozy and welcoming environment to hang out at! When I visited, it was lively and cheerful inside with folks playing games and having fun. The drinks are a little pricey, but I don't mind supporting great people doing what they love.
I didn't try any of their food, but others' plates looked well-portioned and tasty.

Really liked Thane’s Table! We did book a table reservation ahead of time which at first felt unnecessary but then as the day progressed, we realized we were glad we did. It was a good atmosphere of fellow table top gamers! Cannot wait to come back.

An excellent hidden gym in Arvada, Thane's Table is a great place for gaming, socializing and eating. The food is really good, and the staff is awesome! Their custom cocktails are creative and tasty too.
I was traveling and left my ID after a game of pool. The manager was kind enough to take it and overnight it for me, so I could make the second leg of my trip with an ID. That type of kindness seems rarer and rarer these days.
If I was a local, I'd be a regular, and next time I'm in Denver, I'll be back.

Incredible spot! Played board games with my best friend for 4 hours. Mead on tap! Fantasy themed! It's the best! Will be coming back again!

Highly recommend this venue for any tabletop gaming needs. Friendly staff, reasonably priced food/drinks, plenty of real estate for campaigns, card games or anything in between.

I came here for trivia night and had a great experience. I enjoyed trivia, loved the nerdy atmosphere and theme, and thought the food and drinks were great. I will absolutely be back!

SO CUTE!¡!! My GF and I love gaming bars and Thanes Table had the best food and best atmosphere of any we've been to in CO. All the art and attention to detail really makes it. Trivia night was a lot of fun! The cinnamon roll dessert was out of this world

Great place to get some gaming in with delicious food. Loved all the food I've gotten here so far, but actually renting a room is incredibly expensive that I find it hard to convince players to chip in for.
Definitely come here if you're playing wargames or board games. I found it hard to run rpgs due to the noise. Getting a room might help, but again, really pricey for a hobby where lots of players are sharing books for economical reasons.

My dnd party was very excited for the finale of our campaign to be in such a fun and atmospheric place!! This couldn’t have been further from what our experience at Thane’s table was.
Thane’s table should not rent out ‘private’ rooms on Tuesday—which coincidentally is the pub-wide trivia night. None of which our members knew about (we were all first time goers, and had no idea there was any schedule). Or, perhaps some sound proofing on the rooms needs to be installed before opening the rooms to trivia nights.
We tried to ignore the MC right next to our door and the blaring music, since we were very excited to finish our campaign, but eventually it became too much. While some of the members of my group went outside to try and get a break from the noise, I approached the bar to see if we could possibly leave early, or at least warn them that perhaps renting out the rooms on trivia night wasn’t a great idea. The individual I spoke to was obviously irritated that I was complaining (which I get it, I work in service too, and it can be frustrating) but I felt like since we were spending nearly 200 dollars for a experience we couldn’t even enjoy, I felt the need to speak up. They said we should have looked up the tavern’s schedule, and that we couldn’t get any refund on the rental. However, the person gave us a 10% discount on the tab, which was nice.
All in all, the food was delicious, most of the staff were really sweet people but I probably won’t be going back to Thane’s table. I wish them all the luck, trivia night was popping off so obviously they’re doing something right!
Edit: I appreciate the owner reaching out. ❤️ we don’t expect any compensation for the mix up—hopefully just clear communication when private rooms are being scheduled if the reservation happens to coincide with events! Thanks!

Cool space for gaming and mid food. But guys, these cocktails are bad. Maybe stick to like traditional cocktails. Mountain Dew and crème de violette? It’s real bad.
Very unique and cute place. The attention to the interior detail really enhances the atmosphere. Cocktails are creative names but not the highest quality of craftsmanship. Food portions are great but your typical pub style food. The gaming tables are really what set this place apart
