We had a great group for gaming and were all really excited to see this cafe in person. Very fun atmosphere and place to have a gaming session.The drinks and food were tasty. I had the Belmont Jewel and pizzas.Our only issue came up at the end, when we each went to pay our tabs. There was no itemized receipt offered, and I had to ask. My math wasn't mathing, and I got confused. It turns out an 18% gratuity is added to each of the bills. I did not see that posted or announced, so apologies if our group missed this.The receipt I was given only had a total, with a line for added tips, then a line gor new total. The bottom had tip suggestions, 15%, 20% and 25%. It was good service, but I was not looking at tipping 38% - the added 18% plus 20% I added, so I modified my receipt to lower the tip amount. I appreciate transparency in addition to good service. ?

Such a fun place. Books. Games. Fun to just look at the beautiful (nerdy) decor.Staff is so friendly. We came here with our two under tens and everyone was welcoming and kind to them.I was really surprised by the quality of the food. This was not microwaved bar food. Everything was obviously made fresh and with great care. The menu was simple, but hearty and well made. Very much added to the medieval tavern atmosphere.I'd come here to sit and read on the comfy couch. I'd come here to drink and play ttrpg with friends. I'd come here (again) with my family.My 9 year old had already decided she wants to have her birthday party here with her d&d group.Just a note, our per person price was high because this was an anniversary dinner. You could easily come here for $15/person and have an amazing time.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to our seven and nine year old.

Edit- this place was a victim of a hostile takeover as a result of a partnership gone bad and the new owner is horrid. Treats his staff like trash, is rude to customers and I won't go back. 0 stars. Super unfortunate.Amazing decor, staff is really friendly and fun, game tables are awesome, cocktails were super good and imaginative, and food was tasty. Great place to hang out and play games

This place is incredible to sit in and admire the atmosphere. Old fireplaces, magical decor and big tables make it a great place for all types of tabletop gamers. The food is a bit pricey, but if you are simply in the mood, it becomes worth it.Dietary restrictions: Was able to eat here without getting crossed as someone allergic to gluten! The gluten free flatbread was really tasty.

I like this place a lot but I want you guys to be great, not just good, so I have some critique.- The lack of beer on tap makes drinking here more expensive than it would be otherwise.- While the flatbread tastes good, it’s always left my stomach feeling a little off, like it could use a min or two longer on the heat to get a little char going and ensure everything is properly cooked.- Your flimsy metal chairs should all be replaced. I am tall, ideal weight, and I warped one on accident casually leaning back. That’s bad. Good chairs can support my weight and heavier without doing that.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options. They are inclusive.Wheelchair accessibility: This place seem very accessible for wheels.
