Honestly had a bummer experience at their Sippin’ Santa pop up in the tiki room. We showed up on time for our reservation and they told us they needed some extra time to turn over the tables so we didn’t get in for 5-10 minutes of our 75 minute window. Once seated, it was clear they were understaffed as it took 25 minutes to get our first round of drinks (I checked the timestamp on the photos we took of our drinks) and then by the time we finished those and went to order a second round we were told that they were going to have to finagle the next round of guests as they were running into time issues (which goes without saying we had nothing to do with). By the time our next round was dropped off we were informed by another staff member that the next group was there (ten minutes before our 75 minute window was up) but were encouraged to get moving and head out. Overall we loved the curated theme and decor! But we felt rushed and like we were somehow inconveniencing the staff by being there during our reserved time and not leaving early to accommodate for their being behind schedule. Hopefully management can make some adjustments to timing and staffing so folks can enjoy their time there and not feel pressured to leave early.

We went to the Santa pop up in the tiki room. After getting seated at 6:30, per our reservation, it took another 15 minutes to get water and menus, which we had to ask a server for. After ordering, it took a really long time to make our drinks and we didn't actually get our first drink until about 7:20PM. Finally, as we were finishing our drinks, the server had the audacity to tell us that we only had 15 minutes left on our reservation before we would have to leave. Horrible experience.

As an Arvada Native the Tavern is usually a great experience, but tonight, when taking a seat at the bar, which for over 100 years has been open seating, the hostess in the utmost snotty tone said she had the 2 bar seats reserved for Special guests. When asked if they were here, she took a tone and was like they are reserved. Apparently veterans and founders of Arvada are not welcome. She could of been gracious, offered to hold the next spot, but was rude, condescending and clearly prioritizing open seating.

I guess I'm not their typical customer. Walked in to get a hot cup of tea while the kids trick or treated. I was greeted with confused faces as I was sat at the bar. They weren't very busy but I still had to get the bar tenders attention for like 5 minutes. Once I ordered my tea he seemed disappointed that I wouldn't be drinking alcohol and didn't speak another word to me. Great atmosphere tho.

Most delectable crème brûlée ever! The crusted salmon was wonderful as well. Really everything we had was great, and not over priced (perhaps except the drinks)
