With two other Mexican restaurants in town and one across the street I’m not sure of the appeal. Maybe this is the budget alternative? Would be kinda surprised if it can stay in business

The margarita pitchers are Fuego ? 10/10 would recommend. Especially over that bougie over-priced "Mexican restaurant" next door ?

Food was terrible. Ive never sent my food back in my life but I did here. I had the steak tacos and they smelled and tasted foul. Skip this place, I’m sure they won’t be open for another month.

Ordered a chicken chimichanga, but it was not deep fried, ended up just being a chicken burritos!! Won't be back there anytime soon!!

Wapos horrible food period. The online menu says they have the 1/2 order of Tortilla soup brought a full bowl of flavorless soup. I can't even eat it. The photo on their site shows a lovely bowl of soup with huge avocado slices and tortilla strips. NOT what we received. My husband ordered the trio fajitas, and they were just OK . Business won't last at this point.

The food was delicious, it’s an authentic mexican style with good portions. They have a competitive happy hour with the neighboring establishments and great house margs. The wait staff is super friendly and attentive.

The DF tacos and mixed fajita are delicious. Wapos is authentic Mexican and has a relaxed vibe. I prefer this over Teocali. Both are excellent in their own way.

We sat at the bar when the place was completely empty and took 20 minutes to get an order in. I went into the bathroom to see a cook leave without washing his hands. I called it out to the bartender who said that it was my perception because they have a sink in the kitchen. We cancelled our food and left. NEVER AGAIN.
