A definite “MUST VISIT” if you’re in the area… everything from their interesting menu, to the beautiful, open-kitchen venue, to their amazing service was excellent!
I dined solo as I was in Denver for work and reading online reviews pointed me to Annette. I opted to sit at the bar and the bartender, as well as various other staff did a great job keeping my needs met and my taste buds happy.
If you go on a Tuesday, it’s happy hour all night, so they have nice deals that are available throughout dinner service. They have a nice menu, filled with something for everyone and all items are shareable… Most are actually available in half portions too, which was great for me as a solo diner.
I started with their deviled egg which was excellent and basic. Nothing fancy or crazy, just a very nicely seasoned yolk (filling) which tasted great. Next up was a half order of their Butter Lettuce and Tarragon salad. What an interesting and fun compliment for them to add a sunflower seed brittle to this salad! It offered a nice texture as well as a sweet bite that complimented the tarragon very nicely. This was such a perfectly dressed and plated salad that!
Dinner course consisted of their orecchiette and since it featured Calabrian chilis, I asked for extra of those be included in the preparation. The half order looked small, but I couldn’t finish it all. Definitely filling and packed with flavor. A slight bitterness from the lemon preserve and a nice heat from the Calabrian chili. Save room for dessert… They have several that looked amazing!
My final course was simply a single profiterole and a scoop of their strawberry lime sorbet (separately, of course!). The profiterole featured a bay leaf ice cream inside it and homemade salted caramel on top. I’m not normally appreciative of caramel, but this was so good, I licked the spoon to get it all! The pastry dough was the best profiterole I’ve ever had! The combo of everything in a single bite was dreamy! Switching to the sorbet – Really Really Good! (But it’s sorbet, what more can I say about it?).
Highly recommend stopping in here… Make reservations though, they get busy!

Went for a Business Dinner. I loved the concept, the presentation of the food and especially the service. While most of the food was great not everyone enjoyed it fully.

It was an excellent experience with amazing food and great service. Each dish was inventive and delicious. They deserve all of the awards and praise they have been given, including a James Beard Award. I highly recommend this restaurant for one of the best meals you may ever have.

Loved this intimate farm to table restaurant. The bouillabaisse was amazing with a nice consistency to the fish and a slight spice/heat to the base. The French fries were shoestring and amazing in aioli. So happy with the wine pairing. A cab sav special for the night. Loved it. Thank you so much!

My review is based entirely on the food.
I wanted to love this place. The ambiance was great, the cocktail I drank, amazing. When it came to the food, everything was underseasoned.
The grilled lengua with marrow toast sounded right up my ally. The presentation was great, but the flavor was just richness with no salt or acid.
Our steak frites was also underseasoned. Proper seasoning is such a foundational thing, it was all we could talk about as each dish cane through.
The only dish that wasn't underseasoned was the potato with caviar. Then again, one of the main ingredients is concentrated salt.
I would come here for happy hour or drinks, but I'd eat elsewhere. It was just too expensive a meal to fail at seasoning across 3 of 4 dishes.

One of my adorable sons wanted to surprise me and my husband with dinner here, especially because it's also my name. The verdict is in. If we were locals in Denver, we would regularly make reservations here as our savings allowed. Our party of four ordered quite a few different things to try and every selection was a home run. My personal favorites were the roasted chicken, the butter lettuce "side," and the garlic fries. Unfortunately our waiter was friendly but not very attentive; we really wanted some of their aioli for the garlic fries but we never got any after asking him twice. We shared the trio of mini desserts and were rather surprised that our favorite of the three wasn't one of the first two, more rich and decadent choices (see pic). It was the much lighter mango sensation on the right, which somewhat resembled sorbet, yet it was even better, just delicious! Can't wait to return!

Went in the 1st time this evening with a gift card I got for the holidays. We were so pleasantly surprised with how nice our meal was. We got 4 of the menu items to share as that's part of how this restaurant works. We also got a cocktail off the menu each and a glass of wine each. The host was super friendly, our waitress was fantastic and although we sat on the heated patio and not inside the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely be returning here

Delivered through uber eats and it was excellent. Looking forward to eating in person to get the full experience.

I have been anticipating this visit for over a year and sadly, I was disappointed. “Snacks” were tiny and expensive. The “shareable” dinner items were nice, though underwhelming.
Snacks may be better named “tastes” - 1 potato appetizer was a very small taste at $11, the egg was a single egg, a small bowl of popcorn for $6
We were a party of 6 and we encouraged to get at least 2-3 snacks per person, I understand why now.
Shareables were tasty though the whole cooked fish at $60 was definitely not worth the price with its simple flavoring. The fries that came with steak and the mussels were soft versus crisp. We normally tear through fries, though not these. The mussels and the mushroom + falafel were amazing - though all shareable were “appetizer” sized except for the fish.
It is a lovely restaurant but none in our party could see returning.

4.33/5 Visited Annette about a month ago during our trip to the Denver area. I'm glad we stopped here because the small plates were delicious. Of everything we tried, the cabbage stood out in the best way. I hope to find a way to replicate the recipe! This isn't necessarily a problem, but I'm not a huge fan of places where the tables are on top of each other so that's what takes away from the atmosphere. If I lived in the area, I'd make this part of my takeout rotation.

I wish I had photographed every plate, drink, and the exceptional dessert. Really one of the best dinner experiences I’ve had in Denver these past 7 years. We lost track of time and were the last to leave and the staff was polite enough not to mention it. Amazing food, staff, and vibe.

I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. The flavors - spotless. Especially the chicken liver pate and braised cabbage! However, the service left something to be desired. The waiter forgot about the cabbage which resulted in a side dish being served last while we already ate all the entrees including the pork tenderloin without any sides. The waiter didn’t apologize for the mistake at all! And blamed it on the kitchen. We also ordered chocolate cookies but were served a completely different dessert by mistake. Again, no apology, just “we changed the desserts today and forgot to update the menu”. He offered to take it off the bill, which we agreed to, but ultimately didn’t. At this price point you are expecting the service to be top notch. They have fantastic chefs in the kitchen but the waiting crew needs a training.

After stalking their Instagram page for many years, like some crazed stalker, my husband and I ended our first Stanley Marketplace escapade of trying many restaurants in one day here at Annette. The pork tenderloin in particular, was probably the juiciest pork tenderloin I've ever had. I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat all of it in one sitting. The honeycrisp apple + parsley salad had cloth bound cheddar was an interesting part of the salad that ended up being the most delicious part, married with the other flavors of the salad. The patio has these thick blankets, which I've never seen before at any restaurant. They were quite cozy and added to the nice atmosphere. I like how they want to make their guests feel very comfortable. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes! They do leave a comment card if you want to write an essay to complete the test 😁
