We tried Sonoda’s for the first time recently and it will not be our last! The salmon hand roll was amazing, as was all the nigiri, specialty rolls, and tempura. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were also very impressed by their salt water aquariums. Look out for the baby corals and the baby clown fish! So cute.

Very friendly service, the waitress was so kind to my daughter, made her day. Thought 2 out of 3 of our sushi rolls were very good as well and we sat right next to the fish tank so there was a lot to look at. We live very close and will be back in.

Kid-friendliness: My son really loves Gyoza and he loves them here. Also, the Sukiyaki is some of the best that I've had outside of Japan.
Pretty good place. I've had takeout a couple times at this point and they're very welcoming. While some of their sushi is about as expensive as you'd expect from a sushi place, they have a couple budget rolls that are of far higher quality than the grocery-store stuff yet competitive in price. That's amazing on its own and probably explains their popularity a bit. From what I've discussed with other customers while waiting for my food, everyone has nothing but good things to say.Definitely a place worth visiting.

There's a reason this place has been open for so long - the fish is fresh!The chefs take special care in preparing each serving with love.The presentation is beautiful and the flavors match well and pop.The staff is super friendly and for the price there's few places that could match it in the Denver area.They have a great selection of beer and sake to wash everything down with and the ambience is nice and retro.Come here to be satisfied with sushi!

This was quite the experience. From the start the staff was friendly and attentive and Juan and our waitress were on top of every detail wish I had gotten her name; they provided perfect service.The food was amazing my favorite had to be the Green Hornet Rolls. Even though i enjoyed every single item we ordered it all went well and tasted delicious from the start. I honesty didn't expect the freshness as we are far from the Ocean but it was one of the best sushi experiences ever.I would highly recommend and hopefully can return soon try every item possible.Thank you for a great experience!

This is my new sushi spot. Price is about half of Sushi den, albeit ghetto part of the town but the happy hour price is well worth it. Less fancies but I am all here for the food! It tastes a little less in quality in term of the sushi rice but fish taste quiet skmilar to sushi den quality. Highly recommend you to try thwir nigiri.
