Absolutely love this place! This js my partner and I's faborite little treat. The food is exceptionally tasty, the fanuky that runs it is so friendly and welcoming, and you get lots of food for cheaper than a mcdonalds. Highly recommend!

When you walk in it's very inviting with Chinese art and decor but when you enter the large dining room,it looks like supplies left over from a construction job...not inviting. The food was disappointing. Chicken dry lacking flavor and hardly any chicken in chicken dish. After spending 4 years eating only real Chinese food from China,I wondered if these Chinese folk forgot how to cook their native cuisine.

Food is cheap and so is the quality. If you are low on cash and need a quick bite. It's ok. They can be rude. I wouldn't recommend this place

I have been to this facility 4 times.
Each time I went in I am greeted with:
âWe are not readyđ đâ
I have since waited til 11AM (30minutes after they open) & still was greeted âwe are not ready.â
I am not ready to go back there any time soon.
But itâs a good place.

I *really* want to like this place: after all, the idea of a Chinese scoop restaurant is beautiful and wonderful and should be preserved!
âŠbut itâs kind of a love-hate relationship. Look⊠for this class of restaurant, Iâm not expecting gourmet food. The food shouldnât have to be complex or healthy or beautiful.
What I *am* expecting is relatively fresh food that comes out quickly and is a good price.
For $11.99, you get 3 scoops and lo mein (or rice, or half and half). It really depends on what you get for whether it will be piled high or not. Be ware that the dishes like âkung pao chickenâ donât have much chicken, but thatâs not necessarily a bad thingâwe like vegetables! And this place certainly does too: they will give you lots of âbutter potatoesâ (fries, basically), but maybe not so much jalepeno chicken.
The noodles WERE fresh (but they were also mixed with old noodles that had been sitting out for a while). The salt and pepper shrimp was somewhat stale and DEFINITELY too salty. I was super excited about the s&p and picked it even though you only get 4 per scoop with the combo.
The service was friendly! And kind and very competent. Just not extremely fast, limited mainly be the kitchen. I understand that thereâs a turn-around associated with fresh food, but waiting for 15 or so minutes when youâre just staring at this buffet line of food, as are the four people who have been waiting even longer than you, wondering why they werenât prepared for this is just⊠confusing, man.
I recommend supporting businesses like this because they are close to a great deal (certainly they are at least a good deal;)), and the food is tasty, for sure. The family working here obviously works really hard, and Iâm happy theyâre so close to my home. Just wish I couldâve said I had a better experience this time.
Anyway, it did hit the spot:) so thanks, birdâs nest!

Normally I feel bad for not tipping but when I watch you pile on food for others combos and give me A scoop after seeing who the order is for, never returning to this prejudiced place again. Skimpers and scammers

I got fried rice, lo mein, and sesame chicken. The chicken was soggy with zero crunch. The lo mein was soft and mushy. Overall the flavors were bland. The food alone is one or two stars.
The only reason why I'm bumping it up to three stars is that the prices are very reasonable. You get a lot of food for the money you pay.
It will fill you up for a couple of meals and it's inexpensive. If that's your objective, this place isn't bad. It's just not that good, either.

Food is not good
I'm only giving it 3 stars because I have noticed they over charge you ! This is the 3rd time they add something else and charge you extra ! Literally saw someone complaining about getting over charged right now
