Bua Traditional Thai Cuisine (Tasty Thai Lotus)

I came here for the first time for my friends birthday on Monday 05/19/25. My friend lived in Thailand mentioned this was a great place, so we came to celebrate. I also visited Thailand a few years back and i was a huge fan of the cuisine.

This place didn’t disappoint the inside was nicely decorated and very clean. The food was delicious very authentic tasting and good sized portions. We had fried calamari for an appetizer delish! Then i got beef curry that was recommended as a speciality it was fantastic and my friend got a curry with noodles in it that is from the nothern region of Thailand that was superb and the star fo the night! I will say beware with the spicy levels here they don’t mess around! I love spicy food i am Mexican and consume well above average spicy food on a regular basis. I got the level 3 on a 1-6 level spicy and i would have said it was more of a 4-5 level spicy is how it felt to me. I ate it and was happy about it, but i was extremely thankful I went with what i thought was medium not sure i would have enjoyed anything hotter!

Only thing that disappointed a little bit is that i told the waitress it was my friend’s birthday and that i was paying and we were celebrating. I thought they would do a little something to make it a little more special for him. I wasn’t expecting much but maybe for them to help us sing or anything that they might do to make it a little more special.

I’ll be back the place is great but i was a little bummed how she just played it off like it was nothing. I just won’t be coming here any special occasion other craving this food 🤣

These clowns can't get anything right. Even when it is taken correctly because it's on the receipt correctly, it still won't be right. I clearly stated 10 times and she read back 10 times 'NO NUTS', of course it was covered in peanut. I switched it for a new one and when I got home I checked the bag and other parts of my order were missing and I got something I didn't order. The worst thing is the food is actually delicious but I can't go through all this every time I order, time to find somewhere else.

Don't know for sure, but I do believe this is the only place that makes homemade egg rolls that are delicious, thank you for your service guys!

The place looked great. Service was good. But the food was not as good. The food was too spicy even when I ordered a 2/5 spice level. Their disclaimer notes on every table about spicy food could have been a hint. Was not able to finish food. Thanks to the decent Thai iced tea, I was able to finish off some food.

BEWARE!!
Several items on our bill were priced higher than what was clearly listed on the menu. When we raised this with the staff, they were dismissive and offered no explanation or apology. It felt like an intentional attempt to overcharge.

It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. The service was good, the waitresses were lovely. The unsweetened iced tea was basically water, and the food was middle of the road but pretty tasty.

Their food used to be good but for the past 6 months they are so dried and tasteless. And their service were not so pleasant and polite.

I am upset I wanted this long to try them out. They will definitely be in my rotation.

The fact that they serve Mee Grob is great! Almost no Thai restaurants do. I brought it to a potluck, and people liked it.
I've dined in before and liked it. I will return.

Great food. We had drunken noodles, edamame appetizer, seafood was delicious.

Excellent restaurant and so calm ambient.

Good size dishes for the price point. I had level 1 mild though heard it can go up to 10.

I barely see any noodles even though the dish is called “drunken noodles” I complained to our server and she confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the portion

Fabulous dinner at Bua Thai! Tried the Garlic Style Stir Fry, the Thai Basil Eggplant, and the Thai Chicken fried rice and all were outstanding! Staff was super sweet and the atmosphere is so lovely. 10/10 would recommend!
