Before thanksgiving I would have recommended her to anyone and everyone. But, after ordering desserts for thanksgiving and paying half up front, she up and moved without letting me know. Not sure if she did this to all of her customers, but it was incredibly unprofessional. Here we are almost a month later and I still haven’t gotten my money back. I understand stuff comes up and life happens, but when you run a business and have customers putting down deposits, you need to be forthcoming with information. I messaged multiple times in a week and did not get a response until I was irritated. All I got was excuses. Save your money and time. Order from someone/somewhere else.

This is her life, her passion. Besides from our kids. She bakes EVERYTHING from scratch, NO BOX MIXES, NO PREMADE CAKES, ONLY ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS! Don't believe me, give her a call for your next event, weather be a wedding, birthday, or catering event for any occasions, no need to stress CAYTON'S SWEETS has you covered!

I called about 10 days before I needed a cake for my son’s birthday. I was informed it would be no problem and she was excited to do it. The night before I was to pick up my sons cake I got a email at 8:00 pm saying she had pneumonia and was not comfortable with handling food and giving it to her customers. I was disappointed but totally understood. However, the day I was suppose to pick up my son’s cake I noticed on Facebook she was advertising to have people come pick up cupcakes she made that day. I also noticed she made a cake for another customer. I was truly disappointed and would not trust Cayton’s Sweets.

I started communicating on 11/22 for a cake I needed on 12/26. I was told this would be no problem at all. I checked in the week before and again, no problem and we decided on 1:00 pm for a pick up time. At 10:45 on the day of pickup, I was given a lengthy excuse of being up all night and over sleeping and it wouldn’t be ready until 230 or 3. Reluctantly, I told her I could make 2:30 work. Didn’t hear back. At 1:30, another long excuse about her husband and someone throwing away a piece of equipment and now it wouldn’t be ready until 4. At this point, I told her we had a party starting at 3:30 and to cancel my order because it would no longer work for me and to please refund my deposit. She had refunded part of my deposit but refuses to refund the full amount, because she sent me a picture and we decided on a flavor. I would absolutely NOT recommend ordering from her if you want your cake on time!

I wanted to recommend Cayton’s sweets. I was excited after seeing the pictures of the cake that was supposed to be made for me. The morning that I was supposed to pick it up, I was contacted and told there would be a delay. A second delay resulted in my having to cancel the order due to time constraints. Only part of my deposit was refunded even though there is no mention of it being non refundable and she was incredibly unprofessional
