Awesome and yummy place for authentic Chinese food
In continuance of the tough grammar, the former name of this place?Uncle Zoe. (No 's)The new name has been verified as Dating Yummy. Hilarious and memorable.4.4☆ on Google...I was seeking Uncle Zoe(!)...for dim sum, specifically the pork dumplings and gyoza. So far it's me and 4 other tables of Asian folks. Which is usually a great sign!Once again, I am the Honorary Asian.Review and pics to follow....
Special pork buns really good, especially if they steamed!
My new favorite restaurant! Every time we eat here it just gets better and the service is so amazing. We love the server so much every time we see her it makes our days better :)
This restaurant is no longer Uncle Zoe’s. It is Dating Yumy. The beef and celery dumplings were excellent. Standard American Chinese dishes were standard. The eggplant was good. Service was also great! Only 4 stars because old restaurant menu and signage was still in place and caused confusion for expected meal. I wished the dumpling and bun menu was bigger.
Very disappointed in Uncle Zoes. Went in to place a few orders and 3 out of 4 items aren't available anymore. The 2 items that I ended up purchasing were fair in taste and quality. Been going here for a few years and never had a problem. Not going back.
The food itself is delicious but the service was eh. He did say they were under new ownership. The breaded chicken was all out so I couldn't get what I originally wanted but the crab cheese wontons and vegetable fried rice I got were delicious. My husband loved the steamed buns he got. I have a severe allergy to pineapple and eating my food I'm having an allergic reaction even tho nothing we ordered had anything with pineapple in it. I believe I had told the person helping us about my allergy but I don't remember 100% tho if I had or if it was me talking to my husband about it. They should keep much more in mind cross contamination is very serious either way.
The food was pretty good when they first opened but we got it in April of 2021 and the food was not good at all. The noodles were just a mushy mess and all of the food had no flavor. We got it earlier this year and it was so much better. It was about as good a $1 per scoop places but much more expensive. I hope they return to the old quality.
Had several dishes, sautéed cabbage, salt n pepper tofu, cucumber salad, maps tofu, spicy chicken. All very tasty, only issues was a little too much salt. Service was good.
I don’t know what happened. This place used to be really good. I think they changed owners, but the soup dumplings did not have any soup in them. I was not served a spoon to break open the dumpling, no ginger, etc. The salmon fried rice was pretty good. Overall pretty disappointing unfortunately cause I really liked this place, but I have to be honest for you guys to improve.

Great service!! Great pricing!! Great food and portions!! Definitely worth checking out!!I'm sure you will love it!!
A resounding meh. The spicy fried chicken was good in comparison to the rest, but it had no numbing in it. Nothing was spicy. I even tried straight-up drinking the chili oil they gave us, and it tasted like broth. Nothing was bad, per se, it just wasn't impressive and didn't taste right.
WOW!!! Absolutely amazing !! Authentic Chinese food . Please come and try real Chinese flavors .
Great food. Affordable prices. First time here today and I'll definitely be back again. Chicken over rice is great. One of the few places in la that serves Xiao Long Bao.
This was the best service I have ever had! They are so on it with the meal prep and always want to make you satisfied. The food is great but the service is better!
