Most of their trays were empty and couldn’t get a “thick chocolate churro” that was on their menu. Got the last 2 Dulce filled churros (warm and delicious!), a plain churro and a chocolate covered with sprinkles. Churros were delicious, just disappointed most types weren’t even available. Also being expected to tip for being handed something is kinda ridiculous.

This is one of my FAVORITE places! The food and pastries are incredible, but what really makes it special is the owner. He is incredibly kind, friendly and always brightens our families day. If you visit Stanley make sure to visit him for the warmest smile and the yummiest churros!!!

These churros were one of the best I have had!! The filling was spectacular but the right crunchiness is what convinced me. The owner was there and he was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We tried the coffee and it was ok, he did warn ua that it was “American” coffee.Parking: This is inside the marketplace.

The Spanish that serves is really great, as well as the churros and chocolate! It is also in a very entertaining place, to spend the afternoon. I love everything.

Undercooked churros and runny chocolate-not worth the visit. Was excited to try this place but it was an absolute disappointment!! I know what Spanish churros should taste like and these are not it. Not even passable as a dessert - totally tasteless.

I was curious to try this place after hearing so much about it. To my surprise it wasn't that special. We got the $9 experience and the churros were very good. The problem was the hot chocolate. I'm from Italy and we only have thick hot chocolate so I was expecting to have delicious chocolate as I can't find it anywhere in the US. It was thick, but it tasted like nothing..I don't know what it needed inside to make it better..but it tastes like thick water with a very small amount of cocoa powder..very disappointing..

Best churro I have ever had! We got a dulce de leche filled churro. It was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. The filling was sweet and caramely. The churro was so good that when we were walking out of the marketplace, we had to turn around and go back to buy two more! Definitely don't pass up on this place for dessert, but be sure to get the churro fresh. (Apologies for the photo, was so eager to take a bite).

I'll have to give these guys the benefit of the doubt since the owner was able to squeeze me in as the last customer for the day 10 minutes before they closed to buy a bag of the small batch of churros he had left Unfortunately, they were pretty cold like they'd been sitting around for a while... the side of chocolate was necessary, but it tasted like dark which isn't my favorite, but complimentary... the churros themselves were long and thin and the sugar was just right,..I can only imagine how tasty they would've been hot and fresh!

Stopped by for an authentic Spanish dessert of churros and chocolate. The chocolate was the perfect consistency for dipping and matched the flavor profile of a churreria in Spain. The shop owner was friendly and suggested one of his other baked goods - a Tarta de Santiago. It's a lovely almond cake with a hint of lemon with a dusting of powdered sugar. It is also gluten free. I saved this for my breakfast as he advised it would go great with coffee. Excellent recommendation!

We had delicious churros this morning! They tasted almost exactly like the churros we had in Madrid and the chocolate was dark and rich. We also tried the Tarta de Santiago which was delicious and light!Vegetarian options: Almost everything is vegetarian and the tarta de santiago is vegan!Dietary restrictions: The patatas bravas and torta were gf as was the sipping chocolate. The tarta de santiago is gf and DF!

The owner is a very jolly man. I greatly enjoyed their “Dulce de leche” churro as well as their regular “Spanish style” churro. They are fried to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place for a sweet taste of Spain.
