I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday, she requested a purple cake with gold writing. When the cake was delivered it was terrible, it looked as if an elementary school child had decorated the cake, & the cake was purple with orange writing. When I contacted the store & I spoke with the owner Alan Weldon, he was very rude and accused me of trying to get a free cake?! Are you kidding me?? I've already paid for the cake and didn't get what I had specifically requested. My receipt even says purple cake with gold writing and the cake is purple and orange. The owner then said he wouldn't do anything to try and make this right & when I asked for cold stone's corporate phone number he told me that he didn't have it and I needed to look it up. I showed pictures of a cake that I ordered years prior from the Arvada location as comparison and said I was just expecting a professional cake. The man who runs this franchise is very rude to customers and has no business being in customer service or any jobs related to working with the public. He has shown me with no respect talking over me and even hanging up in my face. If I could rate this location with zero starts, I would!!!

Went in to get ice cream and the workers seemed very unhappy and upset to be there. I get it they may be having a bad day or something may have happened but they had no emotion. The one girl in the glasses especially was very rude and her tone was uncalled for and not to mind you had airbuds in her ears. I know it may be exhausting serving customers all night but at least smile a little. Ice cream is always delicious though.

My family visited this location this evening, and the experience was completely ridiculous. Upon arrival, we found two young employees in the back room with their feet up, focused on their phones. They made no effort to acknowledge us or any other patrons.
Despite the surrounding shopping center being clean and well-maintained, the interior of this store was unkempt and unsanitary. When the employees eventually came out from the back, neither appeared appropriately groomed for a customer-facing role. More concerningly, neither of them washed their hands or put on gloves before handling items behind the counter.
One began aimlessly shifting lids around, while the other stood silently, glaring at the customers who were waiting. After being ignored for several minutes, I asked, “May we place our order?” to which one employee casually replied, “Yeah,” but still made no effort to engage. I then asked, “With you?” and received a dismissive, “I’m just waiting for you to start telling me what you want.”
At that point, it became clear these individuals had no interest in providing service or maintaining basic hygiene standards. We left without ordering. Their behavior raised serious questions about whether they were even in a suitable condition to be working.
This was an extremely disappointing and frankly disturbing experience. I strongly encourage immediate review of this location’s staffing and operational standards.

2025-April
Ample parking is available at the rear and side of the building.

No queue was observed on Sunday afternoon; however, a steady stream of customers was present throughout our visit.

A wide variety of ice cream flavors and toppings were available.

All items were delicious.

do not recommend the smoothie, there was ice chunks and was not a good smoothie, your better off spending less money at Jamba

Small waffle ,small icream and 2 small drinks for $40 NO WAY ! That’s ridiculous! Definitely taking your money and you don’t get what you want !

I missed this place on my way to other stores in the shopping center. But I found it on Sunday, and now it is my go-to place with kids. It is clean, fast, and friendly.

This was our first visit to this Cold Stone Creamery location. Customer service was outstanding. And the ice cream is the best ever. While pricing could be seen as a little high; you get what you pay for. The ice cream is made onsite and daily. Several flavors and toppings to choose from. We appreciated the time the store owner took with us to make sure our experience was nothing but the best possible. This Cold Stone has a great location and plenty of free parking. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. Delicious! And a great staff to assist you in making sure your experience is nothing less than 5 Stars!

A fun ice cream shop, with a proposal very similar to that of Pinkberry in my country (Peru); but with the difference that the toppings go inside the ice cream, not on top; which makes it very curious.
The ice creams are delicious but very expensive

I worked here a little while back, the environment is nothing but hostile. The managers, are very very unfriendly and unprofessional. The business is ran by teenagers getting paid minimum wage or 65-80 cents more to be a “shift leader” which basically entails working so much you’re working every single day, no matter what. As an employee you are told that unless you are “obviously contagious” or have “proof of prescriptions” from your doctor, it doesn’t count to call off. They would rather you come in sick, coughing, sneezing while working with the customer and handling food, then call off. The managers hardly are ever there, and if they are scheduled they are running back and forth from stores and shopping rather than actually helping their employees. I once had influenza B and was told I couldn’t call out without a note from the doctor, or else I would have to come in, which I did. Getting the other employees sick and probably the customers as well. Another incident happened when my car broke down during dead of winter and was actually asked if I “could just walk here” by one of the managers. Dead winter, blizzard even. The two managers were also together, romantically, and brought their own drama into work with them, and constantly had drama and gossip problems with the underage staff. The store was never clean fully, and not a single person seemed to care, the scooper holder where it supposedly “cleans” the things used to scoop ice cream was probably cleaned once when I worked here, other times it would clog with mold and the worst smell ever. The employees here, since they are so young and underpaid and overworked, often stole tips from fellow employees during a shift and often times no one did anything or cared. So yeah, do not recommend to go or work, thanks for the PTSD when it comes to ice cream!

Disappointing we tip and order online. Past 2 times they have forgotten part of order or got it wrong last time we tip them they just don’t care having to go back to get part of the order is a waste of time. Better to just order it at the store and make sure all is correct. Last order seems the ice cream had freezer burn. Had ice cube crystal things in it extremely disappointing. When you call to complain does no goodBeware if you order online and don’t tip because the service is poor

10/29/22-They girl working behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and didn't like answering questions. It wasn't busy when we got there, but got flooded with soccer players while we were eating our icecream. They only had one worker, so I can understand why she wasn't the friendliest if she knew she was going to deal with tons of people with no help. This location needs better staffing. As to the icecream, the pumpkin one was really good but the Boo Batter one just tasted like raw eggs.

Order delivery here twice and both times I pulled gray hair out of my mouth from there ice cream and had missing ingredients that I paid for. I'm sick to my stomach ? I won't be ordering from here again. I'm sure accidents happen but I'm discussed.

Skylar Ely is the best ice cream scooper I’ve ever seen at this store!!! I hope to see him again in the future ?????????????
