Finally found Caribbean food spot not too far from me. I will definitely be back. Great flavor and pretty authentic.
This is the best Cuban cuisine I've had the opportunity of trying. The pork chicharone is perfectly crisp, meaty and flavorful. The yellow vegetable rice was also better than almost rice and you should give it a try! The fried plantains were perfectly sweet & just the right amount of chew. I got a super sweet 4 leches dulce dessert and a flaky buttery coconut pastry. The cafe bakery here is huge. Every item looks freshly prepared and likely to delight.

We took a trip to Aurora because everyone kept telling us there's such great food. We sure found it at the Cuban Bakery and Cafe. It reminded me of my time in Miami in so many ways. From the kind staff to the upbeat music playing in the background-I immediately felt welcome. The greatness continues as you select from a choice of tradition Cuban dishes, ready to go. I chose to get a Cuban sandwich-it was divine. But don't stop there-you have to try the desserts-we got cheesecake, questos, and more! Oh you can't really say you love Cuban food unless you wash it down with a Cuban coffee! Kudos to this establishment!!

I guess I need suggestions ? on what to order here because I tried a couple of things and was not satisfied with my choices. I got a smoked turkey toasted sandwich that tasted like a regular turkey sandwich with mustard. I also had a potato ball with cheese and meat. Nothing to brag about, I took one bite and was done. Last but not least the plantains there were 5 thick ones. I guess my preference is the thin slices, and these were big and thick. People love this place You can tell by all the traffic in and out but someone please tell me what they specialize in. My son bought home an empanada from here before Which I was not impressed with either.
The food is excellent and authentic. I recommend everything. If you want an authentic Carribbean taste. This place is it.
