I am from Cali and I would go to Culichitown all the time so I was excited when they came to Colorado but I was sceptical about all the bad reviews. I honestly don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. The restaurant is a good vibe and the food/drinks were so good. The service was also great.

We spent 1 hour waiting for the food until I canceled the order, paid for 2 drinks I ordered and it was $46 just for 2 drinks, too expensive and the michelada tasted horrible.
I do not recommend it and would not return.

Both ordered Diablo Shrimp, super salty, tasted more like chipotle sauce, no idea what the beans were supposed to be, corn tortillas were the worst we’ve ever eaten. To make matters worse the restaurant automatically added tip to bill of $46. Not cool. Will not recommend or ever return.

Waiters and staff don't show up. They go to the bigger tables more often. They try to rob you by giving you drinks in smaller containers but charge the same as if it was a big cup. They also force the tip on you by charging you the tip after they run your card, although the receipt makes it seem it's up to you. I Definitely DO NOT recommend this place.

The food is very good, good seasoning, it takes a while but it is worth the wait with a beer.

Relatives, I don't know how you say they are from Culichi, I am from the Sinaloa mochis and has nothing to do with seafood, the Sierra Cevice Tostada has nothing to do with Sinaloa, the Sierra Ceviche is tanned and dry with carrots and onion, the shrimp is cooked they don't take his guts
And the tripe from Acha is not from Acha, it is schnitzel, it is a flying clam.
I really appreciate it because I like that people do well in their businesses but they have to improve their dishes. I really wish you the best but it had to be said, don't get agitated old man, it's critical constructive, blessings
Not impressed at all honestly. The scallop plate was just not good at all! They tasted bad. No sauces, toppings, salt, nothing brought to us. The food was very bland and no flavor. The waitress took a very long time to come back between drink and food orders, by the time my we got our food our kids were completely done. It was just very disappointing. The food does look good, it just did not taste as it looked. We were charged for the scallops and we sent them back just as we got them, with exception of one scallop.

Beautiful presentation and decor but honestly way overrated way overpriced and definitely not family friendly. Kids drinks served in a glass Dinosaur that makes no sense especially when their kids food is served in a McDonald’s happy meal box. We tried sharing the seafood platter and they served dirty shrimp. Drink again average and overpriced.

Went to take some friends for their birthday. Band was starting and it was extremely loud. they said it was only because they were filming a commercial and it would end soon. The band continued on getting louder. My friends apple watch gave hime a notifacation that he could damage his hearing after 30 min. We took our appetizer to go. the manager said they only have music on weekends and did not respond when i said it was Thursday. The shrimp empanada was good when we got to eat it and I imagine it would have been better fresh. I was looking forward to trying the menu because it is a completely different type of mexican food that you normally see. Will try again but on a night with no music. It was louder than a concert.

The restaurant is very nice and the waiters are very attentive, but the taste of the food has nothing to do with it, for my taste the food lacks more flavor, I ordered chicken culichi, the cream is the same as the one that makes green enchiladas, yes very little chicken and a lot of beans and rice soup, my wife ordered aguachiles, they lack flavor and they only add onion and grated carrot, the shrimp were raw they needed to marinate them in more lemon, the food has nothing to do with the price, never in I had bought an overpriced $20 michelada in my life.
