Best spring rolls in Denver, hands down! Great service, great atmosphere! If you used to do Vietnamese on Federal, you will gladly drive the other direction for this gem.

Truly great restaurants can be hard to find in Denver, but Dan Da delivers every single time. After a half dozen visits and sampling much of the menu, it’s clear this is a place built on skill, care, and consistency. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and every dish is prepared with an attention to detail that’s immediately noticeable.

The standout is the whole fried red snapper. It arrives crisp and golden on the outside, with delicate, perfectly cooked meat inside — a dish that easily anchors the table. The supporting flavors and garnishes are just as thoughtful, creating a balanced and memorable meal.

Dan Da is run by a local family with decades of experience in Denver’s Vietnamese restaurant scene. Their hospitality shows: the service is warm, the atmosphere is inviting, and the space is beautifully designed without feeling fussy.

It’s not just my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city — it’s my favorite restaurant, period. Consistently excellent food, genuine hospitality, and an experience that never disappoints.

Tried some of the food here its not bad but not for me. When i say not for me i mean a shrimpy taste because i dont like shrimp i mean at all so if something taste too much like shrimp i dont enjoy the dish. Many places ive tried this dish there was maybe one other place in vegas that had an extreme shrimpy taste which i didnt even bother eating after one bite but this one though wasnt that bad but i stilll wouldnt get it again. If you like shrimp and that taste you will probably enjoy it. I will give this place another chance but this review is based solely on my first experience here and on what ive tried.

Love, Love, Love!!! Go for the traditional dishes! We ordered:
CP8. MUC RUOC BA ROI // CALAMARI PORK SHRIMP PASTE.
TS1. BO LUC LAC// SHAKEN BEEF TENDERLOIN.
Perfect to share for two. Southern style Vietnamese which is what I am very familiar with. Staff is great and the beef was lean and spectacular!

Been a few times since it opened, both for lunch and dinner, and always have a good experience. Well priced & delicious foods with nice, prompt service. I recommended the “Build Your Own Wrap” tower for 3+ people (or 2 people with leftovers.)

We were at the bakery next door and heard the owner was the same. Such a cute place and very modern and clean. Definitely will come back to eat inside. It was a little over priced but it was delicious.

Never come back this restaurant again BAD FOOD- BAD service ,The owner is selfish. We were so excited to try this place, as we heard good reviews about it. However, we were really disappointed today. We ordered a hu tiu bo kho with bread with not enough broth to eat with noodles and bread. We asked kindly for more broth, but the owner told me I would have to order another hu tĩu bộ khổ entree in order to get more broth. I was okay to pay extra for more broth, but I didn’t want to order another entree and waste noodles and bread. The owner proceeded to kick us out of the restaurant and tell us to never come back after we questioned why they couldn’t just give more broth and charge us for that. Kicking customers out and demanding them to never come back is not worth over some broth. We feel so disappointed and upset about this whole situation. Please be aware of the owner. He is rude and disrespectful.

If I could give this restaurant negative stars,
I would. The owner of this restaurant is rude and disrespectful. My entree originally came with very little broth to the point where the broth were all soaked up with the noodles and dried up. I didn’t even get to eat the bread because of how little broth they gave me. I politely asked for a little more of broth to finish up my food. I was okay with paying extra for more broth. However, he said no and he forced me to order another full meal in order to get more broth. How does that make sense? Why would I have to pay for another entree just to get more broth and waste the noodles and bread when they could just simply charge me extra for broth only. We were polite the whole time and nothing physical was involved, but the owner kicked me and my wife out of the restaurant and demanded us to never come back. Please be careful of this restaurant and the owner.

We’ve now eaten at this relatively new restaurant twice in the last week. The food and service are both outstanding. It is the best Vietnamese food we’ve had in Denver or Aurora so far. We’ve done the rice, noodle bowls and the tower that includes ingredients for making your own rice paper wraps. Truly outstanding food. The tower for two is $34 and has more food than the two of us could eat. The rice noodle bowls are a bit less than $20 but well worth the price and significantly better than what you would get Vietnamese restaurants in the Denver area

This place is absolutely delicious. Same chief from Savory Vietnam and she nailed it once again. More focus on smaller menu and taste even better. Can’t say enough but the food here is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very nice as well. Well worth it you want to eat some Vietnamese food. Cost a little more but the quality of the food and plating is worth it. Great customer service as well make sure to reserve a seat as this place does get busy!

What amazing food !!! We were in Vietnam last year end and this fantastic chef took us right back!!....and I'd say even better than some of the places we ate at.. very good reason for it being so busy...Great drinks and service is added bonus. Only regret is not having found this place earlier. Already planning next visit ?
