El Meson de Liz has exceeded ALL expectations. The BEST “molcahete” I have EVER had! The seasoning is spot on PERFECT…EVERY time.
And speaking of “spot on”, the service is just this…”SPOT ON”!
Im certain over the past few years most of the population will agree, service has declined in general.
This is NOT the situation at El Meson de Liz. In fact service will exceed any expectation you may have…
Lastly, DEFINITELY NOT least, the quality of the alcohol offerings is spectacular. I highly recommend the “Rose” margarita!!! Delicious recipe with fresh hibiscus!! Delicious as well as so beautifully crafted!

4 out of 10. Flavorless and greasy tacos run red grease all over your hands. Way overpriced and lousy food in comparison to local joints. It’s the rent. They have a high dollar location. Drinks were good. Choir queso was good. Service is slow.

Owner Liz and her sister Norma treated us like family. We arrived at 10:45am and although they were not open yet, Liz came outside and welcomed us in. It was a pleasure to be in their care from the moment to the last. Liz even walked my mom (getting cancer treatment) out to our car and gave her a hug. The food was fantastic, service and personal care were really wonderful. Thank you!

The food is hands-down delicious. Especially the soft chile relleno, which is my usual reference dish for Mexican food. The chile is forward in the dish and not dominated by cheese and the soft batter is delicate and perfectly cooked. The other two dishes I’ve tried are the nachos and enchiladas, also both superb preparations. Simple yet delicious. The staff is always super friendly and very attentive. The patio area is beautiful and spacious and shaded from the beating sun…a very relaxing space. The interior is rich, simple, and clean and has a great layout for guests. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely amazing restaurant! We got to meet Liz ourselves and she is a delight! All of the staff are very tentative and polite. They are constantly checking in, refilling drinks, bringing extra food, etc. So much thought was put into the aesthetic of the design. It is stunning!!!!! And the FOOD! Beyond our expectations. It was the best Mexican food we had ever had!!! Highly highly recommend — we will be back!

This has become our favorite local spot for Mexican food. The owner and the staff are beyond friendly, welcoming and overall great people. The food.. the food is even better. The queso fundido is a MUST when you come and the Mole is not too sweet. Makes for the PERFECT date night and you can tell the food is made with love and passion. MUST VISIT!!
