The service was fine. The food was not good. The beef tacos were flavorless with meat just no flavor! The Mexican rice was way Undercooked! The refritos tasted old and too salty. Blech! I have had Much better Mexican food at other El Tequileno restaurants, so this one's food could have been Much better. Avoid this restaurant!

We have eaten there in the past and really enjoyed it. However, the last two times were a disappointment. On one occasion, I ordered the tequileno burrito which seemed to be incomplete: the menu described it as beans and rice inside, but I'm pretty sure they were not. The burrito was small and flat. On the second occasion, I ordered the veggie burrito. Instead of grilled peppers, onions, and vegetables, it had previously frozen mixed vegetables--the kind you would buy in a bag at a grocery store--inside. They just tasted watery. We will not be in a hurry to go back.

Ordered for dinner for delivery (through DoorDash) and called to confirm the choices we’re making would actually go through. Not only did all orders come out completely wrong, we were charged for additions that were never added and then never provided the appetizers we ordered even though everything was clearly labeled on the receipt. The Arroz Con Pollo arrived to us cold, with undercooked veggies and was drowning in Spanish sauce we requested not to have (and upcharged for the sauce we did want, that they did not include), did not get our chips and queso, did not get our another order of chips (which fun fact they charge $4.99 for!)

spent 60$ on two carne asada plates. it was honestly so flavorless. the horchata was also not good. will not be coming back
This is my neighborhood spot, every time I come here I’m reminded why I can’t stay away. Nothing but friendly interactions, quick service, and large portions.
Tasty. Get appetizer. Enchiladas are delicious but small. Best menu in Front Range! New

As other reviews have stated this place has an absolutely massive menu. If you like Mexican food there is no doubt you will find your favorite dish here. The service on our trip was not great, we were seated immediately and then forgotten. After about 10 minutes we flagged down a waiter for drinks. He also took our order but our actual server didn't show up until our food came. (About 20-25 minutes into our visit) The food was very good and on par with some of our other favorite Mexican restaurants in town. The portions were fair and the price was average. TL:DR - good food, fair prices, massive menu, mediocre service

Hostess was insanely rude, arrived there on Sunday at around 5ish and asked to sit at a table and her response was "that's a problem". She took us to a booth, for handicap reasons a booth would not work for our party of 3. She said they had a large party and needed all the tables they have. 3 large tables had reserved but another table didn't. My sister said the booth won't work and stupid hostess replied "I don't judge". She was rude and lacks hospitality in every way. What she should have said was... we don't have a table at the moment, it will be a wait. Then we decide if we want to wait or not. But to say "that's a problem" was so rude of her and to still take us to a booth was idiotic. The waiter Ivan was insanely nice and professional, it's because of him that it was all ok but I doubt I will ever go back. Mexican restaurants like this are a dime a dozen, they all taste the same and nothing extraordinary so no need to go to one where I don't feel welcomed or feel like I'm a problem.

Haven't been here in a while and was glad I returned. Margaritas are still in regular and jumbo size and are generous with the pours. Chips and salsa are free as are the refills so that is a plus. Festive decor adorns the walls and shelves. My favorite was the statue holding a child over our booth's ledge which happened to have crayon drawings all over the wall. (Maybe a warning to children to not draw on the walls or they will be sacrificed...lol.) Service was friendly but got a little slow as the restaurant got busy and had a large group.
