Love the ribs

I have ate at Famous Dave’s since 2009, loved coming here cause of the all you could eat rib tips on Thursdays.. our experience today was very disappointing . The food tasted repurposed and old, had no flavor whatsoever. The ribs just didn’t taste fresh at all, we must of got last week ribs lol . For the cost of the food definitely wasn’t worth it.

Food selection is good but barbq meats were all over cooked. Almost no one in the restaurant when we ate but service was barely mediocre. Much rather stick to Hickory House!

Disappointed. What happened to this place. Wife orders ribs, naked, asks for sample of new sauce on side. Can't do that, have to charge for a side. So, a BBQ rib place wants to charge for the new sauce on the side. Ridiculous.

Ribs were not done. Fighting like crazy to get the meat off the bone. I'm sorry, but the food quality has gone down hill.

Although we enjoy Famous Dave's, we were there when all of the wait staff had called in sick. Only one waitress for the entire restaurant! She did a great job but, one had to be patient!

New manager Pilar was very helpful and attentive to the customers needs & answered any questions that we had. I went to the restaurant recently and noticed that the food tastes better, fresher and portions for the price are on point. The place is cleaner now than before now that new management is running the building. Staff seems to be more on point with new management demands and I'm definitely going back.

Ordered 2 meat combo. I chose wings and brisket. 15 mins later my waiter came back and told me to pick another meat because they ran out of wings. Finally got our food and it literally looked and tasted like a reheated school cafeteria lunch.

My husband and I ordered take out from here for dinner. Things have gone downhill with their food. The ribs and brisket were rubbery and bland and the sides were just OK. But the really disappointing (and absolutely disgusting) part was the BLACK, ROTTEN banana we discovered when we went to eat the banana pudding dessert. Their staff had to have seen this when they scooped it into the takeout container, so they are apparently OK with serving rotten food to their customers. My husband had picked it up on his way home from work and it’s not anywhere close to our house so we really didn’t want to spend Friday night driving back across town to sort it out… and honestly I don’t think I trust eating anything from them at this point, anyway. But thanks so much, Famous Dave’s, for letting us waste our money on the super expensive spoiled food! I guess at least now we know you’d not worth the drive or the money. I’m gonna go throw up now….

We hosted a large group for an event in the back room at Famous Dave's. The staff was a pleasure to work with in planning the evening, and the food was on point. Roasted chicken, ribs, brisket, corn, broccoli, and award winning corn muffins were all terrific! We will be back!
