I had the pleasure of dining here with my daughter and her Lion and Dragon dance team. The food was amazing and the service was prompt and friendly. Absolutely amazing
Atmosphere is pretty nice! Our server wasnt fully fluent in english so communication was a tiny bit tricky but she was very polite overall. Seafood Hotpot Combo was a little disappointing. and pretty expensive for what it included. Consisted of one crab (cut into halves), a few mussels, clams and baby octopus with udon noodles. Spicy rice cakes were pretty decent and good for their price.

It was just us on a Monday night. I can't wait to come again on a busier night to get a better vibe. The pink Jinro soju frog was good company. Solid banchan: the chayote jalapeno pickle is a new must-have for me! We shared a scallion seafood pancake with tender calamari tentacles and padak fried chicken with piles of scallion flecked with sesame. Tasty food - terrible breath. You may want to avoid for a first date.

Pretty ordinary Korean pub vibe. We got army stews and corn cheese. They don't offer fried rice service like Korea so we ordered requested rice and kim-garu to make our own fried rice. Okay service.
Google captions a 3-star rating as "it's okay", which is really the most succinct way to sum up Funny Plus as of late.
I don't review often, but felt compelled to write about how slow the service has been on my last several visits here. Since my first visit 2 years ago, the servers have become especially ignorant of my table. I could understand if they were busy, but there were maybe 4 or 5 other tables the last 3+ times I was here (and when my table has to ring the buzzer several times to catch them while they joke with tables of their friends, it tells me the servers aren't interested in...well, serving).
The food at Funny Plus is still hot and tasty (when you do get it), but their prices mean the value is just not here anymore.
I want to love Funny Plus, but just can't keep defending it - especially considering another late-night Korean spot right around the corner is on-par with their food, without being as pricey and also while providing better service.

If anyone asks what’s my favorite restaurant to go to, hands down it’s Funny Plus! The fried chicken is amazing, so crispy and the sauce is delicious. The rice cakes also have an amazing sauce, a perfect balance between savory, sweet and spice. Another thing to absolutely try is the green onion pancake. We’re always recommending this place to everyone!
We had the hibachi rice cake with ramen added. It was so flavorful and a perfect mix of spicy and sweet. Definitely scored when our server suggested this. Was so so good ??
