I’ve been wanting to try this place because of the 4.8 stars and when I did, I got food poisoning and it’s the worst I’ve ever experienced. I got the combination rice noodle bowl and all their meat tasted old and dry especially the chicken. Won’t be coming back for sure.

The best service and hospitality I’ve experienced in Denver/Aurora. The food is incredible and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about vegan food. They are a family run business that has been operating for three decades with Mama still cooking in the back (they were featured in Westword). Aside from having marked vegan options on the menu, you can also ask them to make vegan versions of things. I noticed they wrote and circled “vegans!” on the order notepad which tells me they are very careful about making sure dietary accommodations are paid attention to. We were able to veganize the chow fun and it was the best (in fact, the only good) vegan chow fun I’ve had in Colorado over the last 8 years. Also large portions at a very good price. This is a gem of a restaurant. If you’re vegan and haven’t been yet, make it a priority!

We decided to try this place after seeing all the good reviews, oh boy was I wrong. I ordered the Rice Combination All Protein platter. The chicken tasted old and overcooked. The beef was nowhere to be found. The Shrimp looks like an overcooked shrimp tempura. The egg rolls were also overcooked. The entire dish tasted nothing but old, salty and overcooked.
Also, the prices on the menu are completely wrong. We had to pay more than what’s on menu. This is pure dishonesty.
Avoid this place. There are way better Vietnamese restaurants around.

I don't know why we don't go here more often...this place has excellent friendly service, wonderful food, wide choices, good portions, unique selections and very good value. We end up here only a couple times a year and never disappointed.

Incredible staff, delicious food, and price. The handsome staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They offered complimentary apps that were so delicious. The portion sizes are large. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! I will be bs k again and again.

Delicious food at a good price, great menu, with many tasty vegetarian and vegan options ? I enjoyed my meal very much and the service was excellent. Definitely a new favorite restaurant, can't wait to come back!

Best service best food. I hate this place. Because of them I literally can't eat fried rice anywhere else. They raised my standards and I have yet to find a place that meets those standards

Edit** I just wanted to say this is still, have down, the best Vietnamese/ Chinese restaurant that I've had. I do a lot of traveling, and throughout the 10 other states that I've eaten at that had great reviews, they still have nothing on Golden Saigon. Com dac biet, the noodle bowls and the fried rice are the main dishes i order when i go somewhere new. The only bad thing about this place is they won't give you a free meal unless you pretend to be homeless and wait around till after they close. I feel a punch card is due!!!
