My mom and I stopped in for lunch after finding out our regular Ethiopian spot was closed, and we’re so glad we did. The food was amazing, the service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, modern, upscale feel. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’ve officially found a new favorite.

Gursha Ethiopian Restaurant is a true gem! The lentils, Beef Tibs, injera, and other savory aromatic dishes we tried were fresh, hearty, and packed with vibrant flavors—every bite felt both satisfying and healthy. The restaurant’s colorful atmosphere and fun decor create a warm and lively vibe, complemented by relaxing yet upbeat music in the background. The staff were attentive and responsive, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine in a welcoming setting.

I was hoping for a better experience overall. I’ve had Ethiopian food a few times before and I did not enjoy this restaurant the same. A couple friends came with me they loved the sambosa, and they enjoyed half of the vegan platter. I had lamb it was well cooked but very oily. I tasted the items on the vegan platter, most tasted like vinegar. I don’t really care for vinegar taste in my vegetables/lentils. The restaurant was cute! Bathroom could have used a clean up. Service was not bad.

I love Ethiopian, so this place is a gem. Crazy location, but it's about the food for me. The inside is also quite nice for Aurora, and everything send recently renovated. It's probably going to be a cultural adventure, so expect that going in. To me that's why it gets five stars!

Amazing food! They had a real nice incense burning that just made everything so much better. Great service and the homemade honey wine was of the gods.

The food was delicious! The customer service was excellent. I absolutely love this restaurant! Only downside was the event center next door was having a very loud party, but that is out of the restaurants control!

authentic flavors with generous portions and beautifully spiced dishes. The injera is soft and fresh, perfectly complementing every plate. Warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone craving true Ethiopian cuisine.

My husband and I shared the vegan combo plate and the sambosas. AMAZING!!! There was the perfect amount of food for both of us (maybe even a bit more) and each different sampler of food was fantastic. Everything felt very wholesome and authentic, and even the injera on its own was very tangy and delicious. 15/10 recommend this, especially for vegans or vegetarians!
