Let me start this by saying that my partner and I love the cider from Haykins. Whenever we go to a farmer's market we buy a bottle or two. We have been to their taproom location once before and had a pleasant time. Unfortunately, the most recent experience we had was beyond unsatisfactory. Last Saturday, October 5, my partner and I stopped in to the taproom in hopes of grabbing a flight before a Colorado Rapids game. We thought this was a perfect time to stop in since the taproom is well outside of Denver. We walked in at 6:30pm and sat at the end of the bar. The high tops and tables had not been bussed from previous customers, which we at first didn't think much of. We sat at the bar for over 30 minutes without any sort of acknowledgement from the woman working even though she saw us come in. We would have waved her down if we could, but her back was facing us as she was in conversation with with a group on the other side of the bar. Aside from that small group there were only two other parties there, one at a high top, and another couple sitting beside us. The glasses of the couple next to us dwindled in those 30 minutes as they too were waiting for service from the employee. The only way we could grab the server's attention would be to get up and walk to the other side of the bar and interrupt their conversation. This is unacceptable and quite frankly uncomfortable. Seeing that the time was then 7:00pm, my partner and I decided to leave and just grab drinks at the game. The server had no intention of doing their job between the lack of bussed tables and no service on a slow night. This was beyond disappointing to say the least as my partner and I had been excited for a small date night at the cidery before going to the soccer game. This left a bitter taste in our mouths for the rest of the night. We love Haykins Cider, but have been severely disappointed in their choice of staff, we hope they do better in the future.

Wonderful single varietals of sparking cider! Non-alcoholic cider also available! Some of the highest regarded cider making in the country happens right here in Aurora! A must visit experience!

Parking: Lots of spots in the free parking lot that are for the tasting room

At Haykin you'll have some of the finest cider the US has to offer. The focus here is on the apple, and mainly cider-specific apples, so you won't find any fruit additions to their beverages beyond that, which I appreciated. My favorites were probably the dabinett, and the Colorado methode ancestrale, although everything was excellent. Tasting room manager Vanna was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be returning!

Nice taproom. It was quiet on a Saturday night and had plenty of seating. The cider menu is fairly small, but that just made my choices easier!They offer you sparkling or still water, and the bartender checked in on us fairly frequently. We brought in some outside food, as they don't have food there.Prices seem reasonable and the ciders tasted good. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Came in the other day with a couple friends and we had the pleasure of being waited on by Adrian. He took great care of us and stuck around to further explain the ciders in our flight and answer our questions. Super friendly and knowledgeable guy. In terms of atmosphere the place is cozy but could use some plants and art in the tasting room. Would recommend.
