Ate the Ruben egg rolls as that was to be the best they had. Could not eat it! Went to breakfast just the standard hotel food. Cant remember the exact amount but 15 for the continental stuff, $20 if you add the hot. Recommend waling 10min to get something that taste good and actually cheaper!

I have been coming to Denver for the last year for treatment at UCH. After trying a few hotels closer to the hospital, I found my home at The Double Tree. 90% of the reason is the service and delicious food at Jackdaw. Val always recognizes me, and is an amazing bartender. She is observant and easy to talk too.
I haven't had a bad meal yet. Great chef and kitchen. The Ribeye has always been cooked amazing and the wings are yummy. But let's talk about the Fish tacos!! The Guinness batter is flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The pico and slaw are delicious and not overpowering. I can't say enough good things. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Elijah and he was also a great bartender. It is located right off the interstate and easy to get too. Great food, service and a nice place to relax. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

Chef Duane Webb made my salmon the best I've ever had my entire life! He Even came out from the kitchen to answer the couple of questions that we had and perfectly prepared our steak and salmon exactly how we wanted. This level of service has never happened in my life. All the attendants were also very attentive and courteous. Definitely would come here again and would recommend for anybody to come here and eat even though they're not staying at the hotel. Good food, great service!

This restaurant is inside the Hilton Double Tree Hotel. Good Happy Hour. Breakfast buffet was good & have a nice a la carte menu.

Had a large group stop by for drinks and apps, they handled it well and the food was great!

The food was not good, nor worth the prices. Just move on to another place. Very glad the meals were discounted.

I’m typically wary of hotel restaurants, and this visit has only reinforced that skepticism. My overall experience was moderately disappointing.

Dinner started on a positive note for me—the specialty cocktail I ordered was smoky and well-balanced. Unfortunately, my partner’s dirty martini didn’t receive the same care, coming off as poorly made.

The chicken wings were the highlight of the meal. Crispy and well-coated, they are easily the best thing on the menu.

But things quickly went downhill from there. We were excited to share the Shepherd’s Pie, but after a couple of bites, we couldn’t continue. Rarely do we send food back, but this dish was inedible. The mash potatoes on top were dry and unseasoned, the ground elk was overcooked, and the dish was overloaded with root vegetables—turnips, sweet potatoes, potatoes, and carrots. The undercooked turnips made the dish inedible, with their dense, chewy texture and unpleasant mouthfeel.

We opted to try the chicken as a replacement, but it was equally disappointing. The chicken was bland, the Guiness Stout glaze watery and sweet, and the rice was a mushy, unseasoned mess—not pilaf as advertised. The broccolini felt like a punishment for sending food back, served as mostly unappetizing stems in varying shades of green.

On a positive note, the service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and kind throughout the meal. If you’re just stopping by for a drink and an appetizer, this spot could work, but for a full meal, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

It is far too expensive and it’s just plain awful. Let’s start with the positives: it is attached to the hotel, they’re open late, their staff is very friendly (our server is the only reason they got a 2), and their wings are very good. The food: I have never sent back food until I ate at Jackdaw. Their elk shepherds pie sounded exciting but was a mouth full of undercooked root vegetables, a sad excuse for a sauce, and the most unseasoned potatoes I’ve ever eaten. The server was kind enough to swap out the meal. We got the glazed chicken dish and were further disappointed with broccolini that looked mostly wilted and partially chewed, rice that was over cooked and bitter, and chicken that was lightly covered in an unseasoned and watery sauce. Worst of all, the dirty martini I ordered was primarily water. I was happier with the less expensive Applebee’s delivery I got afterwards.

Can’t comment on the food, as we stood waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes without anyone ever coming over, so finally seated ourselves. We sat about 15 minutes at the table and never once had anyone acknowledge that we were there, or assist us in any way. They were not busy (small groups at 3 tables) and we sat at the most obvious table near the front. We finally left due to the lack of service.

Sat down to grab a drink and work as I was staying in the hotel the restaurant is. 2 staff acknowledged me, and never came to the table after 25 minutes. Went up to the bar, other one just ignored me. Horrible

Hi Scott, thank you for taking the time to respond. I can’t figure out how to reply to your reply so adding the response here. Very kind of you to reach out to make things right. It’s appreciated. Cheers,

Ate here while staying at the hotel. Good food, nice drink selection. They indicate sandwiches come with "pickled vegetables" which was a small cup of 4 pickles. I also ordered the "seasonal vegetables" as a side. Turned out to be a plate of mushy over cooked asparagus. There are other close by locations to eat at that might be better.

What a disappointment! They have two different "corned beef & cabbage" items on their menu right now. What they delivered to my table did not match either description. When I asked for the cabbage, they said the side is the vegetable of the day. Asparagus is disgusting and I wouldn't have ordered anything with a vegetable side if I had known asparagus and carrots is the vegetable I would get.So then I pointed out that the menu specifies braised cabbage, not vegetable of the day. Now they say the cabbage isIN the potatoes, it's colcannon.Braised cabbage is a separate item in a comma separated list. If you only get the cabbage IN the potatoes then the menu should say "Irish colcannon with braised cabbage." I don't think I've ever seen solid white colcannon, cabbage has a lot of green. I suspect that what they claimed to be colcannon was just mashed potatoes. They also didn't bring the house made Maple mustard.I don't know if any of it was any good, I didn't eat it.It was quiet in the restaurant, so that was nice.
