This place is a hidden gem. Very reasonable prices and has the best barbacoa. I love the green and the red sauce here. The smothered burrito is amazing and I even love the plates. The ambience is nice if you decide to dine in.
We'd heard some glowing reviews for this place from friends, so decided to check it out. My barbacoa burrito started out 5 stars - it was so yummy, and the green chile was nicely spiced and peppery. About a 1/4 of the way through I hit 3 solid bites of fat, and that dropped my 5 stars to 4. My husband had the same issue, and his food came out lukewarm, so his dropped to 3. Tacos were good, so overall rating is 4. Service was fine - we had some questions and they were answered...
This place has beautiful art on the walls. The Quesabirria & horchata is to die for. It’s worth the price for sure and in a nice new spot located off Quincy & Buckley. The young woman working up front was handling everyone/everything well on her own. Busing tables, waiting tables, running food, taking Togo orders, all of it. Overall I hope this place gets all of the business it deserves !
